A long list of books. Some of them aren't "pure" cyberpunk, maybe only having a few of the now-classic elements. A neat list though. I'm sure some of these will be included in my next book-buying trip. Other subgenres of SF are represented as well.

Greg Bear's one of my favorite authors, but his stories aren't cyberpunk by any definition. I recommend Forge of God to any sci-fi fans here. 8)

I think Bear lives in the San Diego area too, or comes from here or something like that.

I think he does. A lot of his stories take place in the area. Forge of God had a significant part of the novel in San Diego.

It's both, he's from here and still lives here. He's at the Comic Con almost every year.
