Schedule of the Century

Post by SpaceMonkey »

That's right GMs, we've now got a spot to schedule games in - so feel free. Now that I've actually gotten my character posted (at least as much as anyone else) I figure it isn't hypocritical to schedule up some SotC goodness myself, so:

Somebody (or somebodies) wrestle me up a date and let's do this thing! How's about the 6th? How's about tonight? How's about 1/1/3001 via time travel? How about after the bonfire Saturday? One of those has to work for somebody...

Ok, so we're leaning more towards the 6th of October ( a week from Saturday) at this point.

Who's in?

I'm likely in as well.

Who's going to run this thing? I would like to play a session before I volunteer to run it.

I'm pretty comfortable running SotC. If we were to play on the 6th, I'm sure I could come up with something by then. Hell, I have something already.

I was technically offering to run, but if you want to do so Mike that's cool with me - due to GH prep and, you know, not actually having played much SotC yet...

And what's this 'if we were to play on the 6th' crap? I've chiseled it in on my rock calendar already (no pencil for me, nosiree).

By all means, if you want to run it, go ahead and run it. I'm not trying to throw my SotC weight around by any means. I am admittedly surprised to "hear" myself volunteer so soon after the end of the M&M game, but why not. If it'll help you get the GH game together, I'll do it.

Fair enough. The 6th in Bedrock it is.

So we have a character creation thread and a thread with actual created characters. The only thing we're really missing now is the ubiquitous scheduling thread.

This Saturday, October 6, has been suggested as a viable date for an early-afternoon SotC game (to be followed by maybe Star Wars Saga and games such as). Who can make it to that?

Oh, and where are we going to do it? I know the stock answer is "Mord's office!" but that guy's been really busy lately and might not even have a character together by then (making him an excellent GM candidate, BTW).

Oops -- pardon my faux pas. Of course we have a scheduling thread. I was just so taken with the name "Schedule of the Century" that it clouded my faculties. Threads merged.

Knocking the sand off his cleats, uber_snotling steps up to the plate.

Yes, I will volunteer to host and run the next epic adventure for SoTC.

Options for game times:
Saturday or Sunday on either 2/23-24 or 3-8/9.

Theme: I'll try to tailor this to the people who show up, so please let me know if you want to play so I can look at your character and involve a dastardly villain, ancient artifact, or prize-fight.

Anybody interested? If so, are there preferences for the date of said game?

Ooh... I guess I should vote for 3/8, unless people can do it earlier in the day, in which case I vote for 2/23. It would be like a gaming mullet: SotC in the morning, AD&D at night!

I'll vote for 3/8 on the supposition that the farther out I plan it, the more likely it is that I won't have anything for that weekend.

Johnny Mephistopholes, Son of Satan, to the rescue!

Alright, I see a quorom. There is a single person currently preferring the later date, and a second person who would like to have a mullet gameday. Game on I say.

To those of you who have not updated your dramatis personae pages with your aspects 7-10 from the original gameday, I would suggest you do so (Devlin1, dnd3eplayer).

Anybody else wanna play? Any preferences on dates by the playa's should be stated soon.

Current role call =
Johnny Mephistopholes, Son of Satan
RPM, Flyboy Engineer Extraordinaire
Flannan Kilvain, Cursed Irish-American Pugilist
Incognito, Man of a Thousand Faces
Magnus Hesche, Ninja Envoy to New Worlds

The date is not yet set.

I'm currently leaning towards 2/23 starting at 1 PM since only one person has stated a preference.

Are there objections or alterations to that time/date?

Man, I totally didn't see this reply. Assuming the rest of the 1st Ed. group is game, I'm down for 2/23 for sure.
