First Game

I'd like to actually schedule this game. OMG!

I am thinking of hosting it at my house on Friday July 6th or the 13th. (whoho Friday the 13th...) I'm also open to a different date if all the players agree.

So I need to hear from the following people who showed initial interest:

Azarack
Wintermute
Neromancer
Skyman
and Uber_Snotling.

I'd be willing to have one or two more players if there is interest.

I'm off to Mexico for 10 days.. So I may not be too responsive in the next week.

I'm excited that you are actually looking at running this game.

I just checked my PC folders and managed to find the GURPS character file as well as my background for my character. My hotmail even still holds the folder I kept your prelude emails in.

Now.. if people look here before their email (hah!..

), you DID mean to run on a Saturday, now, instead of a Friday, right?

Just that a Saturday would be much easier for me as my work, now, tends to run me a little late AND I am driving from Oceanside.

Friday the 13th works best for me. There's a Dune game on the 6th, although the 7th should be open. The 14th I'm doing a pub crawl, so even if that night were open I'd be pretty worthless, haha.

Let us set the date as July 7th late afternoonish (4-5 pm)My hubbie doesn't want you all hanging around until ungodly hours in the AM!

Anyone interested in Statting their characters...We are starting with a 200 point character, and I'll throw in some freebies (my choice) to each of you. If you want to wait until the first game we can do that as well.

Looking forward to a new gaming group! (Not that my old one is bad, but it's been hell schedueling lately.)

I still have my old character from last year, believe it or not (yay PC hard drives).

Ok so this weekend isn't going to work out. I'm running out of ideas on when this could possibly take place, and getting demoralized trying to organize.

How about August 11th??

Aug. 11th should work for me.

Maybe in the meantime you can work some type of email communication to get the players' characters familiar with each other.

Might raise your morale a bit and the characters would have an easy time of getting to know each other with minimal digression. :-)

Just a thought.

I believe I'm free August 11th. Depending on how comfortable others are, we should consider doing individual chargen via email? I definitely agree a bit of PBeM/PBP would help us all get into the game.
