Hyphen-Con VI: The Games

Also known as 'The Hyph' or the more wordy 'rpg-sandiego all-day meet-up'. This is the place to discuss everything related to our yearly November mini-con.

Hyphen-Con VI: The Games

Post by devlin1 »

So! Here's the official list of games for this year's Hyphen-Con:
  • Post-Apoc Strawberry Shortcake (PDQ, dnd3eplayer)
  • Those Wonderful Toys (Leftovers playtest, devlin1)
  • Major Problem, Minor Talents (Dresden Files RPG playtest, mcellis)
  • Poker Night (BRP Delta Green, Sadohara)
  • Danger Patrol! (alpha playtest, BlanchPrez)
  • Gothic Victorian Horror (PDQ, mordraine)
  • [s]Outpost Victor-2 (Rifts via Savage Worlds, Cthulhu)[/s]
  • [s]Savage Sands of Set (Savage Worlds, Savage Slacker)[/s] Destroy the Jormungandr! (D&D 4E - Eberron, ekomega)
And here's our two "alternates" -- in quotation marks because I can almost guarantee that we'll need these as well just to accommodate everyone, if our attendance estimates are accurate:
  • The Programmer of Sector OZZ (Paranoia, mrlost)
  • Speak of the Devil (In Nomine, Sadohara)
Sadohara, if you don't want to face the prospect of running two games, speak up so we can tap ekomega soon to give him time to prep his Eberron game.

Also, for those not familiar with how we do things, this concludes the pre-con portion of the proceedings*. We set the schedule and do sign-ups on the day.

*With one exception: If the GMs want to post pre-gens or more pre-Hyph hype (more like "pre-Hyph Hyph" -- right?), please do, because that's always a good time.

No pre-gens for me. Making up the characters is part of the game experience (plus, it doesn't take long). Not to mention that, being a shared narritive, there's practically no prep work for me as the GM. HA!
