Okay, time (finally  )for all those C entries.
Just as a reminder, here's how round C goes:
On the second and subsequent turns, you continue to write entries for B, C, D and so on. However, you need to make three citations. One must be a reference to an already-written entry, and two must be to unwritten entries.
This means that you have to cite one of the A or B entries, and have two other phantom citations.
Also, we have a bunch of C phantom enteries that need to be done.
Shouldn’t we pick the C entrees before anyone starts posting? I also think there was still some discretion about Smartmonkeys B post.
Yes, Smartmonkey still needs to fix his B entry, but there's no reason the rest of us can't move on. The C phantom enteries are in the Phantom Entery thread, I've already called dibbs on one.
And who cited that one? I know you're already doing a chunk of work on this BlanchPrez, but if we had the username's of the phantom entries originators listed alongside them, it would be easier to cross-reference the entries.
Conversely, Slayer never did any concerts with Christian rockers, Stryper.

And with that "dibs" call, all the Phantom Entries for "C" are taken. Let's get some enteries written, guys! In the mean time, I'll work on getting that Phantom Entries list updated with who cited it first.
A great tome compiled by Meltanant, greatest of the Ogre Magi. Though the ogres claim that the Codex is entirely thier own creation, it is widely acknowledged by human and elven scholars that the gnomes contributed to the book, in the dim years of prehistory when the gnomes gave the ogres the gift of written language.
The Codex contains a complete set of guidelines for surviving in harsh mountain environments and is a near-complete guide to mountain flora and fauna. It also contains tactical doctrine, military organization, and environment-specific guidelines for waging war. The tactical information in the Codex contributed to many victories for the ogre magi in the earliest years of recorded history. It should also be noted that defense against supernatural foes is a part of life anywhere on Cinth, and rituals that were the earliest forms of Daemonic Binding are included.
During the Dragon wars the dreaded Autarch of the Iron Freeholds, through double-dealing and treachery gained a copy of the Codex. Using the rituals contained therein he crafted Earthreaver, Hammer of Hell and used the fell weapon to bring sorrow and destruction to the world. This earned the Iron Freeholds the everlasting enimity of the ogre magi.

Cult of Auubrax- A religious orc sect dedicated to the worship of the great elven scourage demigod Auubrax. Champion of orcs that made ascension into the orc pantheon after destroying the elven home land of Horntangle Forest. The Deity is worshipped as a patron to the oppressed(Freedom) and the guardian of fire and air. Commonly noted for their yearly ritual of burning a great pyre followed by a weeks of fasting while covered in the ashes of the pyre. The ash is considered holy in all the rituals and the image of a red eye or an outstretched dragon in front of a cloud emblem is the typical holy symbol of the faith. Most high priest of the order have been know to have the ability to fly or to call down fire from the sky. Some notable orc priests of the Auubrax faith are the Lost Oracles of Smoke and Xerou-Jently, orc priestess. Some orc tribes don't recognize Auubrax as part of the orc pantheon and consider the inclusion heresy, thus creating strife between orc clans. "From ashes deliver us from our enemies. Thy fire is truth. Thy skies are the majesty.Thy faith is our freedom"- Common orc prayer.

Okay, it's almost 400 words long, but here it is. Let me know if this is too much info, I can cut it down.
Church of Yorth, the – Founded when Yorth, a High Priest of the Baeldonian Church and First Witness of Izmir, broke away from the followers of Bael. Yorth felt that the Baeldonian’s had lost their way and forgotten their true purpose, which, according to Yorth, was to protect the people from evil. Where the Baeldonian’s were bureaucratic and very concerned with material wealth, Yorth created his new church to be primarily martial. The first thing he did was break his new church into Orders, each dedicated to a particular martial saint, such as St. Rusaki, who died defending the burial site of Bael himself from defilers. Tough each order was to be fairly independent, and able to determine it’s own hierarchy, Yorth did want the church to be united. To this end, the leaders of each order was to be a High Priest and the leader of the church as a whole was the Archbishop, of which Yorth was the first. He kept the Baeldonian names to make the transition smoother, but this led to a lot of contention with the Baeldonian. Just prior to the Great Dragon Wars, this conflict turned to bloodshed in what is now called the Archbishop Battles. Both Archbishop Gui Altacorp of the Church of Yorth, and Firn Titilus, Archbishop of the Baeldonians, sent troops to take the other’s head. Fortunately, the battles did not last very long, as political pressures from the kingdoms where the fighting had happened quickly ended it.
By the time of the Great Dragon Wars, the Church (as the Church of Yorth is commonly called now) had as many followers, priests and knights as the Baeldonian Church did, and the Baeldonian’s were obviously in a sever decline. Although it had also grown to become much more bureaucratic, though it still maintained itself as primarily martial, with many of the older Orders being combined into the much larger and more organized Knights of Yorth, and was constantly looking for new ways to increase it’s martial might. It was this drive that lead leading scholars to discover a use for the mysterious gem known as Amethyst to harvest the very essences of Dragons themselves, though to this day very few are sure exactly how this was done.

I’m just trying to tie together some of the geography from the other posts something like what Count Zero did with the Rikar/Westmarch and Diamond Coast. This is all getting a little overwhelming.

So, create a cartography entry that details where everything is. ;)
Honestly I was thinking of doing just that. I thought it would be better to let everyone flesh this thing out as a group over the entire alphabet. Do we have a name for the continent or even the world yet? I’m this far away from pulling posts from BoC, Count Zero, and Lowly Uhlan.
By the by, real nice job on The Church of Yorth. You even mentioned St. Rusaki which is like a second degree reference or a reference once removed or something. Top drawer man.
No one has mentioned the name of the continent or world yet, so feel free. I think a cartography entry would be a good idea, though. Not nessicarilly right now, but not a bad idea at some point down the line.

Thanks. :D I did make the cardnal sin of citing myself, though, but I didn't see any way around that.
Well I heard it was either Klaatu, Baratta, or Necti :o
I think since we have different authors for each post with different backgrounds it doesn't have to be 100% congruent with each other. So don't stress too much. A history book from the US is probably gonna sound different from one in GreenLand or Magandishu
Right. Don't worry to much about continuity. Pick maybe 3 things you like and follow them, adding more as you go along. This is supposed to be fun after all.

Chantil: The beauty and wonder of the Plague City of Chantil is matched only by its tragic fate. For millennia those who look upon Chantil from afar have been deeply moved by its architectural wonders; gleaming city walls white and flawless as an egg shell, bridges and walkways with spider web thin supports and tresses, and towers that stretchy impossibly high to the heavens. The only sing of the evil within is the slight feeling of dread that quickly turns to stomach turning nausea as you near the city walls.
Thousands of years before the Great Dragon War, Chantil was the political capital of Sanderi and the cultural, mystical, and academic capitol of Necti. In an attempt to expedite the import of raw materials from Ferronius, now known as the Iron Freeholds, the Sanderian mystics opened a portal between Chantil and Ur-beth, the ancient capitol of Ferronius. Tragically upon the much celebrated opening of the portal a rift was formed allowing a fell and still unknown energy to poor forth and instantly eradicate all life within the city walls of both cities. Over the centuries the magic holding open the portal weakened and the evil receded. Today Chantil may even be habitable if it weren’t for the actions of the trading guild, the Davill League, in 1235.
At that time there were only two routes to move materials between the Iron Freeholds and the rest of Necti one was by sea around the Talas Peninsula and through the Commir Islands risking turbulent waters and the even more turbulent political strife of the Commir Island nations. The second was to pay the tolls to travel the pass carved through the Dragon Spine Mountains by the Dwarves. Lord Davill realized that if he could reopen the portal between the Plague Cities he would be able to move materials directly from the Iron Freeholds to headwaters of the Silver Snake River. Not to mention free the wonders within Chantil. Obviously Lord Davill wasn’t the first lord of the trading guild to think of this, he was simply the first foolish enough to believe he could control the rift.
Once the portal was reopened the evil quickly refilled the cities undoing what nature took thousands of years to nearly repair. The political backlash against Lord Davill and his sons was immense leading to the death of Lord Davill and the exile of his sons. Understandably one of the most vocal of Lord Davill’s persecutors was the Autarch of the Iron Freeholds, though his anger must not have kept too long since he later used the portal to hurry troops across the Dragon Spine Mountains. To this day the Autarch is the only person ever to be able to control the energy in the plague cities, and it is believed that what ever forces he used are why the energy is as strong today is it was that tragic day thousands of years ago.

Caravel, Elven: The elven caravel is 60', three masted saling vessel. Like the elves themselves, the ships were lighter, faster, and more manuverable than their human counterparts. The ships were originally designed for trade and exploration. Much of the elven war fleet was lost at the Battle of Degen Harbor, and the caravels were re-fitted for war. The most noted use of the elven caravel was by the elven warleader Eliol Manalan. The light ships were the only vessels capable of matching a dragons speed over water. Eliol's overconfidence in his fleet cost him his life when he followed enemy dragons to far out to sea, accidentally discovering the Dragon Islands. Eliol's fleet was the first to discover the Dragon Islands, and few of his crew made it back to tell the tale.

Crystalline Shards - This expansive mountain range juts across the eastern side of the Southern Valleys, limiting access from the Eastern Plains into what is primarily orc-controlled land. Many a foolish scout was lost to the Shards, the razor-sharp cliffs as often as not hid hollowed out "bubbles", small areas where the ground will collapse beneath an adventurous soul and send him to his death among dagger-like shards of rock.
The few passes across the Crystalline Shards were greatly contested during the Great Dragon War, no battle more famous than the orc victory at Bloodriver Pass. Not to be outdone, the Orc tribes under Aubrax traveled through the northern Red Eye Pass into the human lands, seeking to claim victory ahead of the slower-moving masses of Argrok's army.
After their defeat at the hands of a human general, they fled to the shards calling out the name of their absent demigod, in the hopes that he would save them. Gregor Palantus set up his base camp in the area where he slaughtered the last straggling survivors, who were still desperately calling for Aubrax's protection. The site later became the eastern entrance to Dragonsdeath Pass, and was the staging point for all large raids into the Southern Valleys.

Crucifiction had been made popular by many religions and governments to make an example of those who broke the law. The Church of Yorth had made heavy use of Crucifiction while it was in power.
Soon the Crucifix or Yorth became a symbol for those who disapproved of the church. When a schism formed it became the main symbol of the revisionist branch led Solomon Revix as well as brotherhoods in the church such as The Brotherhood of St. Gurious.. The symbol itself is in the shape of a “Y†in the middle would be a human body with the head missing.
