Want to buy: old computer (Win 95)

Post by ekomega » Fri Oct 24, 2008 12:36 pm

I am looking to acquire a functioning, older computer with the following specifications:

1) Has two built-in serial ports on the motherboard
2) Has a case and power supply.
3) Has an older hard drive that can hold Windows and software
4) Has Windows 95 installed

The computer must have number 1 and 2, but numbers 3 and 4 are helpful, but maybe not necessary. Again, the computer needs to run.

Please send me an email or message with the price and specifics. Thank you.

I have a Pentium II 350 megabyte desktop computer, that has Windows 98 installed on it. It was an individually built system, meaning that I told the computer shop what to put in it. Back in the day, it was fully set up to play video games, but I mostly played Age of Empires on it. Will it work for you?

It's for my work, and I need to check with them to see if they have found something already. I will get back to you.

No problem. It has a "disc" drive, and a 3.5 inch floppy drive, as well.

Are you still checking?

Just wondering if you were still interested in an older computer system, or if your company already found one? Please let me know, one way or the other, thanks.

Sorry, took me awhile to find out due to the holidays. It looks like we don't need it anymore. Thanks for the offer.
