Sorry guys, but I have to bow out. I am going up to Darq's to help him out since he's hurt. I want to make sure he doesnt keel over dead lol. If he even mentions he's hurt, then he's hurt pretty bad cause he's not a complainer.

Sorry I missed the game guys, something came up at the last minute and I needed to stay home to monitor the phone since I was expecting an important call, and I totally spaced and forgot to post on here, which is totally my fault.

These would be mission-specific. They would be overkill for anything in policework except rioting. However, for special operations, they would be excellent for sweeper operations. Go in, kill everything, blow up the bad guys, get the hell out. Possibly for LRRP operations where the goal is eliminati...

armor
I see your point about armor size. Perhaps a MADOX/SAMAS sized unit? Roughly 2.1 meters tall would fit the bill. It would have enough room for medium weapons also. If you saw the MADOX anime, which was heavily science based, you see that it carries a 3-barrel .50 cal gatling cannon firing at about 6...

How dare you make sense! You must now be pelted by 1 thousand tiny pickles while screaming the theme from Dukes of Hazard. I tend to do a lot of story stuff with a decent amount of combat thrown in. The first few sessions, Combat will start light, then work it's way up to the group's capabilities, s...

Hell, some of the weapons that troops currently carry started life as vehicular weapons, and then were heavily modified. Some started life as personal weapons that could be vehicle mounted. The current SAW? Unmodified and full sized, it is a vehicular weapon, used on a pintle mount a lot of the time...

Stuporman
Ya know, I wasn't too keen on the new stuporman movie when I saw the guy playing him. The new actor looks like a feeb for the most part. But, if this trailer is any indication, they might be doing their best to make a good movie. Time will tell.

Too cool to Exist
I discovered free internet radio stations that play anime soundtracks all day, every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for free. All you need is winamp, and a good internet connection, preferably broadband. http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/?sgenre=Asian Just look for one of the anime soundtrack ...

Yes, but a hollowpoint with the word "Death" in Kanji on the shell casing would be a ton cooler. Just load a few of those into a 10mm, and have an Chao Yun Fat moment as you dump the clip into the guy's chest. Remember, it's not a proper kill if it's not overkill.

When I entered my name, it was spooky how well it described me. But I had to use my full name. As for the birthday stuff, some of that was pretty cool. It says my birth stones are Jade and Diamond. I was never a huge fan of Diamonds, but I have always loved Jade. The dog year section was totally wro...

I just finished the first draft of my novel I have been working on for a few years off and on. Now I am editing it and adding filler and explanations and stuff. But what could you load on a human sized power armor? I think the best bet would be something like a Landmate from Appleseed, or a mech from Gasraki. Small enough to not be a walking target, large enough to mount vehicular weapons and not be KD'd by recoil or have them overbalance the unit. Imagine ...

Depending on if Rock can come over to my house or not, I would want to meet at Game Empire so I can carpool. I dont remember where SOE is except that it's off of the Miramar east exit. And dont bother giving me directions. Me following directions at night is not a pretty, or safe, picture.

The problem is, this mech is a publicity stunt, not a serious attempt at a mech. If someone were to fork over the dough, a real mech, like a serious battlemech, could be made. Maybe not a gundam per sey, but a warhammer, or a battlemaster, those are possible, if you shelled out the cash. There is a ...

Yes, in the first movie, we'd never seen the predator before, so quick flashes of the thing could scare us. However, now we know what it looks like, so they might as well milk it for good scenes since they cant try and get any of us with "OOOH! What is that scary monster?!" flash shots. Se...

I read the article. They had a low powered motor in it, and it used relatively low-tech stuff. It was a glorified McDonalds walking toy. Sure, it can shuffle along. Which, I admit, is impressive. But, it's hip joints were ridiculously weak and inflexable, it's legs were hideously overbuilt, and it o...

I can see why they want to do a remake. Technology has improved, and things they couldnt get done in the original for budgetary reasons would cost next to nothing now. We could see the predator aboard his starship, or landing in the beginning of the movie. We could see more high resolution "Pre...

Rifts Campaign
Heyas. I am starting up a Rifts campaign online using Yahoo instant messenger and conference chatrooms. I have my own updated world that is a melding of my own copywrited story universe and the RIFTS universe, my own yahoo group that I expect all players to join, and a 1 gallon can of coffee mix tha...
