Well. I'm watching CNN. They just showed a half dozen cops arresting some kid for stepping off the sidewalk while protesting. You can't get too close to the convention center if you're one of those commie-liberal-stoned-unemployed-college-student types. We have a "free speech" zone for that.

Well you know... liberals are dangerous people. They hate america and side with the terrorists. They are traitors and such. And to quote Guliani democrats are wrong on most issues.
Actually the thing that bugs is the fact that the media seems to be showing more of the RNC than they did of the DNC. Also, they aren't interupting the speechs and talking over them like they did at the DNC. Nice a balanced.... who owns the media again? Oh yea... Republicans. Control the media, control the mind. So much for that liberal media huh?

Both conventions had their "zones" but I sure as hell don't remember reading in the paper about the arrest of 900 demonstrators like I did this morning....

I can understand areas so the event runs smoothly... just some people aren't getting in the way of people trying to get where they need to be, but to arrest someone for stepping off the sidewalk does seem a little creepy to me. I do find it odd that protestor are immediately assumed to be dangerous. I wonder if any pro-Bush protestors have been arrested.

Yeah....right...
Some day, if I'm ever drunk while writing on this forum...I'll recount some of my experiences demonstrating during the 60's...you know being escorted out of state by the police, hiding from the police in a dumpster, avoiding the police in...well, you get the idea...trust me though, I will need a few more glasses of wine...

Back then it was all white...usually in an earthen ware bottle...costs 99 cents. These days, it's almost always red...and you don't even want to know how much my fav red cost...
Maybe this weekend, when time is plentiful...maybe monday, I've got games on both Sat and Sun... I shall pour a big glass and regale you with that which was... :banned:
