Hackmaster!

Well, I'm going to start up Hackmaster Mini-Campaign soon. I'm planning on running the Temple of Existential Evil adventure, which should take your characters from 1st to 8th level! The game will be played on Thursdays, at Game Empire, starting around 6:00-6:30pm or so. I have room for about 2 more people, so if your interested, let me know!

I am hoping to start this Thursday, with the first session being Rolling up Characters. :D

I don't have a problem with it, but I do want everyone rolling up new characters tomorrow. I haven't actually had a chance to do more than GM a few sessions in the past, how broken are Pixy-Fairy mages?

The big disadvantage to Wizards is they're supposed to be kind of fragile at low levels. Pixie-Fairies are indeed fragile - only half the hitpoints of other races - but they can fly and become invisible At Will! Yup, that's pretty broken -- if you'll allow it than I'm all over that.....

Sort of... but we were offered an actual place to play it in, rather than fighting for a table from the Magic tourney. Where would you rather play, a quiet house, or the game store? ;)

Hey guys,

So, I just got done talking to Rosalynn, one of our hosts. She mentioned food for tonight (something I completely forgot about), and said she would be willing to make spaghetti. Yum.

So, we should all bring something to supplement that with (soda, snacks, salad, something else if you don't want spaghetti, etc.) Let's be kind to these people, they are giving us a place to play after all. :)

I actually wanted to say that I don't think we're going to play this week (I know, that's two weeks in a row...). My brother is running a Boot Hill one shot, and I've been looking forward to this sense he bought the game. :)

BUT, It will only be this one time, I sware. ;)

Okay guys, now comes the big news.... basicly, I'm going to cancel the Hackmaster game. I'm sorry for doing this to you, I know some of you were really looking forward to a regular Hackmaster game, but there are lots of reasons for this. First and foremost, I'm just really not motivated to run the game. I was excited for like the first two sessions. After that, it started to feel like a chore, and I hate having my games feel that way. Basicly, I've come to the conclusion that having to run two regular games a week is just more than I want to do right now. (Maybe I'm just getting old...)

Another part of it is that I am really feeling like I want to play some one-shots again. Plus, I like the idea of Thursday's being a more flexable gaming night.

So, again, I'm really sorry to ditch this game on you guys. But, really, I wouldn't be a good GM right now.
