So, a few reviews have popped up on this game over on rpg.net and I got a chance to flip through it at the game store. I'm curious to hear the comments around here on the game. I have little interest in high fantasy but the setting looks cool regardless.

I didn't even realize this was out already. Very nice.
So, who's gonna buy it first and run a one-shot? Or even a campaign? :D

I just picked it up last night. Haven't had much of a chance to go through it yet, but I like the new races, and the artwork is very cool.

I have seen it and it has some really neat stuff in it. I really like the look of the Warforged. Ah... fantasy mecha race. It has a few other new races but all the standard D&D races. In glancing through it, I saw artificiers as a class. Which sounds kind of cool. It kind of reminded me of Warmachine's setting a little bit.
It looks a lot like any other D&D world just with a few twists. The art is nice and the setting looks solid. But, I wouldn't expect anything really unique. It is your typical D&D fantasy setting. Wizards knows what formula works, they are going to stick to it.
Keep in mind though, it looked interesting enough that I considered buying it for the setting. The religious magic looks like it might be a little different.
Edit: After reading the reviews I had forgotten about the base tech leve... it has more of a Victorian early industrial age feel with Reniasance clothes. A couple of cool things I remember from flipping through the book is the magic train and airships. I do have to say there is something cool about airships. Also, they use bits from D20 modern like action points which is always a good idea.

Yeah, it's really not your garden variety D&D setting, but at the same time, I don't really expect it to be TOO different from that. I haven't looked at the tech yet, but the pictures are very renaissance in clothing and such.

So, I was at Waldenbooks last night, and they had copies of Ebberon. So, I flipped through it and I have to say: Wow. Very nicely done. I like what I saw so far. The art is great, the layout is cool. The new features seem to be pretty cool (I totally dig the Warforged). All in all, this may be one for the collections someday (after I get around to getting the 3.5 rulebooks).

I bought it. And I like it. Lots.
Only dissapointment: No big foldout map like the FR guide had.

Yeah, I was a little dissapointed in that as well, but the interior maps are beautiful, so I can live with it. :)

Looks like there's going to be a poster-sized map for Eberron in Dungeon #113.
Dungeon #113 Cover (http://www.paizopublishing.com/image/product/magazine_issue/dungeon/113/cover_500.jpg)
It looks like they misspelled "Eberron," though. Eek.

Well, let's hope they get that fixed before the release of the mag. ;)

I'll have to pick that magazine up. I'm psyched about d20 Future.

I picked up a copy yesterday at Game Towne, and nope...they didn't fix it.
The map's not too bad, but it's not real detailed, either. And it only covers Khorvaire, as opposed to the world at large. I suppose future supplements (or magazines) might include more maps.

The Hard Cover really only covered Korvaire as well. It only gave sketchy details of the other contantents, but did suggest that future supliments would cover them in more detail. Kind of sad, though, that they can't even spell their new setting correctly.
