Statuses are attributes and skills. Attributes range from 1 to 5. Skills range from 0 to 5.

Task Difficulty (TD)
Difficulty| Add
Easy | 10
Average | 5
Hard | 0
Impossible | -5
Skill checks are an Attribute + Skill + TD. This is the target number to roll equal to or under with a d20.
Close Combat is (Body + Close Combat) - (Target’s Body + Target’s Defense) + TD.
Ranged is (Grace + Ranged) – (Target’s Grace + Target’s Dodge) + TD
The TD for combat is picked by the player. The higher the TD, the more damage it does.
Tests
Mind=2, P=1, Med=0, K=2
Easy Perception: 2+1+10=13
Hard Medicine: 2+0+0=2
Impossible Knowledge: 2+2-5=-1

My RPG system WIP
I am working on a simple set of RPG rules which I plan to use in my video games. I need a system based on a single "dice" roll under a target. I can make the "dice" any size I want but the default is d%. My current ideas use a d20 with three levels of difficulty. Well, it's just easier to show you my system so far. I have the basics of it down. I need a "magic" system still and character generation.
In an infinite universe anything is not only possible, it's inevitable.
