Dark Sun
Dark Sun
Here is the new Dark Sun thread! Ohhh shiny. First game should be in two weeks. Next week we can talk characters, indie game madness and maybe some Dominion.

Mine so far:
http://terrorlake.com/darksun/index.php ... _Fen%27Hul
Thoughts and ideas for my character:
- Baby should be born halfway through.
- Jaktu easily makes a good villain as he would love to get his hands on the daughter of the man that destroyed his tribe and his child.
- Why did Basalla's child not die during the defiling of her village?
Krill's story is up.
http://terrorlake.com/darksun/index.php ... l_Goldhorn
Ideas for Krill:
He wants to know about his origins (very badly).
Also, perhaps Barnabas is out there somewhere, wanting his stable of gladiators back.

I think some of us will know each other already (Basalla and Krill obviously, and John's character knows mine from working the Arenas). I don't really have a preference one way or the other.cczernia wrote:Out of curiosity where will we be starting? Are we a group already or meeting for the first time?

sorry again for not making it to the first sesh. i guess i shoulda explained when i was on the online last night: southwest had "cheap" tickets for only certain days, so i'm gonna visit the folks out in texas.
[s]i don't have editing privileges on the wiki, so here's my background for those who're curious.[/s] (nevermind. thanks again, sam.) here's my character!
in the spirit of chris and andy's pc background posts, i'll also include the following.
thoughts and ideas for my character:
- k'thak is the true stranger in a strange land. he will probably struggle acclimating with the customs and behaviors of the others, eventually, hopefully, befriending them.
- i really liked reading page 17 of the dark sun campaign setting, which provided me with the idea for the disappearance of k'thak's people. otherworldly clues to where they might've gone would be cool.
- k'thak should find his folks at the penultimate sessions, if ever.
since k'thak won't make it to our starting day, i left his background detached.cczernia wrote:Out of curiosity where will we be starting? Are we a group already or meeting for the first time?
thanks for the offer man.mordraine wrote:Pfff. Excuses, excuses.

My brother is doing the same thing and visiting my parents next week. It is probably best that you character doesn't start so then we don't accidentally kill him.jimmy corrigan wrote:sorry again for not making it to the first sesh. i guess i shoulda explained when i was on the online last night: southwest had "cheap" tickets for only certain days, so i'm gonna visit the folks out in texas.

Ok, game tonight 6pm at Andy's place with guest (Oscar).
I think we have most of the basics up on the wiki - I added some stuff for some people, edit if you like I may have missed something or misconstrued.
See you guys and gals tonight.
