Hyphen-Con VI, Round Two: Tie-Breaker!

Post by devlin1 »

The votes are in! Here's your top six games for this year's Hyphen-Con:
  • Post-Apoc Strawberry Shortcake (PDQ, dnd3eplayer)
  • Those Wonderful Toys (Leftovers playtest, devlin1)
  • Major Problem, Minor Talents (Dresden Files RPG playtest, mcellis)
  • Poker Night (BRP Delta Green, Sadohara)
  • Danger Patrol! (alpha playtest, BlanchPrez)
  • Gothic Victorian Horror (PDQ, mordraine)
A formidable line-up, to be sure.

But we're planning on four games in each of two slots, and for seventh place we have a six-way tie. Those games are in the poll above. The top two vote-getters will become our seventh and eighth games; the next two will be our two alternates, in the event that any of the previously selected GMs are unable to fulfill their duties.

You can read the descriptions of these games in the other voting threads.

Many games received enough votes to land them in the top eight, but because their GMs already had other games that'd gotten more votes, only the top vote-getters have been included, because nobody wants to miss out on playing. Except for Aaron, who is down with running two games (thus, the inclusion of his In Nomine game in this poll).

For this round of voting, you get two votes. This poll runs through the 22nd. Once again, it's gonna be tough.

Enjoy!

Looks like we're going to need a tie breaker breaker.

Well, not everyone's voted yet -- we still have a few days to go.

If votes stay the way they are, here's what I propose:

cthulhu's game is in cuz it has the votes. sadohara already has his delta green game in the mix. He's out.

ekomega and mrlost can play rock-paper-scissors for the last spot. either way, be prepared cuz you have to be an alternate.
Hey man, I'm slinging volume and fat stacking benjies, you know what I mean? I can't be all about spelling and shit!

Pffft Andy you are so archaic sometimes. If things stay the same then lets have them all bring it and do opposed rolls with d20's and see who wins. 4 go in, only one come out

ok I have no idea...what 'archaic' means and I'm not gonna wiki it

Still too soon to figure this one out

ya know if the 14th person voting picked Cthulhu's Wild River Camp and Savages Savage Sands of Set game that would make it a ties across the board with the exception to Cthulhu's Outpost Victor game sticking out like the metaphorical middle finger
