Hyphen Con VI

Post by cczernia »

It’s that time of year again. Hyphen con is just around the corner and first order of business is to figure out what date to have it on. Mordraine has again allowed us to use his offices at Kore and given us a wide selection of dates. So, go ahead and vote for the days your CANNOT make it.

Final day to vote will be March 13.

Neither Neuro nor I will be able to attend April 3rd or 10th.

So I already voted no for the 3rd earlier, but it now looks like April 17th as well as April 3rd is looking dodgy for me as well. I'm looking forward to trying to make it down this year though, so I hope it's on a weekend I can make.

Gah! I haven't been able to respond to this due to overwhelming workload the past few weeks. I'll check the schedule and calanders and get back to you all.

Hey, question, are we adding a 2nd day to this for board games this year?

I guess that would be up to Mord if he wanted to host a second day. Unless someone else wanted to host. This also might be something fun to do in the Fall to spread out the gaming love.

I'm happy to host a second day for the boardgames. Chris, can you put a survey up to see who would show up for a second day of boardgames?

I think I would be able to make any of those dates, I'd just have to find out what weekend it ends up falling on so I can find out when to take off from work(I also work most Saturdays). Sounds like alot of fun though and I hope I can make it.

I'd say from the poll results thus far April 24th is our best bet.

I would love to attend and run some games! I can make it any date except April 24 or May 1 - have a birthday and a wedding that conflict with those dates.

Ack! Unfortunately, it looks like April 24th is going to be the big day.

What about the 25th? There's talk of extending Hyphen-Con out to a second day, on Sunday. The original idea was to make that a boardgame day, but if you're available I'm sure there'd be interest in a demo.

I'll definitely try to make it on April 25. The 24th is my wife's birthday. As long as we don't end up going away for the weekend I'll be there for the second day of gaming. Plus I wouldn't mind a little Puerto Rico, Settlers, Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, or even Risk 2210 AD!
