Hey hey -- thanks, fellas, for a good session Saturday. It felt like a satisfying conclusion to the story arc. If anyone has any feedback on the mechanics so far, please post in that rules discussion thread that's hanging around here somewhere. Thanks!

ALSO... MaOCT was frickin' sweet.

thank you for running, brosef. that was indeed a great conclusion to the story arc. my favorite part was convincing the party to go the wrong way in the magistrate's palace, which ended up getting us to the magistrate himself. good times!

i also had a blast playing roger the monster afterward. i showed up late to the second game, and was the only guy at the table who got to play the monster its creator designed. take that.

I loved Roger. I loved him so much I decided to use him in the meetup oneshot and plan on using him at GameX. Anyway you can scan and email the pic.

Also, that was by far the most satisfying SotS game. I really liked that most of us got a moderate wound. So far I support all the rules changes.

Next session should take place in Brightmar!

Yeah, I know it's pretty far out, but I was looking at the calendar and thought I'd post. June 6 is a little too soon for me and the 21st is Father's Day, so it was either the 13th or the 27th.

Let us then pencil that date in. If anyone discovers a problem with it as we get closer, we'll squawk.

Also, I have a problem with that date now. Infant CPR class.

Uh... the 13th?

17th or 13th? Or 27th? Because the 17th is immaterial to the discussion and the 27th is already out.

Damn. That leaves only... the 6th. Next weekend. That's not much time to prepare, though. Chris, will you still be able to put together your Jedi Academy game?

Yes, level 1-3. Starting Force Points = 5 - level.

One player can make a level 7 jedi trainer. We can make characters while waiting for JC.

Awesome. I'm going to make a girl Jedi who's in love with every boy.

So Albert, on the 6th you say there's an outside chance you could make it? Or an outside chance of making it late? Either way, those are better odds than Chris has for the 13th or I have for the 27th.

The 20th may be a possibility for me, but for now I'm ruling it out, just to be on the safe side.

Well... it sounds like the 6th may be our best bet right now, then, because it least there's a chance you could make it, whereas the other dates out-and-out preclude some people from being there.

Little hiccup on the 20th: Mord may not be able to make it. So... uh... we can either press on without him, or really dive into that Jedi Academy game feet-first.

And we may have to play somewhere else, I guess (although this isn't necessarily so -- we've played at his place in his absence before).

UPDATE: I may not be able to make it at all this weekend. My parents were in a pretty bad car accident earlier today in NorCal. It sounds like they'll be okay -- my mom has a broken hand and some nasty bruises -- but I'm probably going to go meet up with them in Calabasas tomorrow when they get back, and I don't know if I'll be going up there for the weekend or what. I'll keep you posted.
