I do beleive so. I can't remember the last time I need tips with Maya 6 to run (or develope, maybe for some cool 3d art like a-state) a game.

However, pen & paper rpgs and crpgs do have a special relationship especially considering all the top rpg designers go off to do video games. Kinda like playwrites becoming screenwriters. Gotta know where the money is.

Oh, I'm not saying this post doesn't belong here or anything. I was just confused at first, and wanted to un-confuse myself. Thanks. :)

Yeah, it can be confusing since there are so many types of games and people who play those games are referred to as gamers. The original "gamers" referred to people who played games of chance (poker, black jack, craps, ex ex).

We don't refer to ourselves as pen & pencil gamers unless we need to distinguish ourselves from other gamers. Even though we know that pen & pencil gamers are the true gamers who should rule over gamerdom.... .... .... 8)

All things considered, I did use Swift 3d (a 3d program designed to be used with flash) for my Fading Suns game. The thing might be interesting in general just to see how the tech heads develop games.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to check out a meeting.

Daniel
When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. I propose to strap buttered toast to the back of a cat. The two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.
