World of Darkness: Family Secrets

Post by cczernia »

"This sucks! I just finished my last final, it is two days before I go see my family for Christmas, and my fucking boyfriend just turned me into a vampire. What are my parents going to say... oh right, I can't tell anyone that I'm a vampire. I had enough trouble trying to hide that I smoked pot, how am I going to hide this?"

World of Darkness: Family Secrets - is a one shot for 3-6 players about a small family that gets together for the holidays only the daughter is bringing her vampire boyfriend. Oh, and she is a vampire, too. However, what other secrets is the family hiding? They all come out Christmas day.

If you are interested in the game go ahead and post here and what days of the week are best for you. I can say now that Mondays and Thursdays are not possible. The adventure will be run sometime in mid June. I'll come up with a solid date and post more about the game later.

Ok, Mord said that Wednesdays are bad for him.

How about Friday June 15th? (for those in the Dune game this should be an off week)

Is this taking place tomorrow?
Whenever I get confused about D&D alignment morality, I just imagine Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandi arm wrestling shirtless on the back of a killer whale.

In other words, I remember that it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense and deal with it best I can.

I'm trying to get an idea of who exactly is going to be there on Friday. I got two definites and some "I'm interested." The two I'm sure of are:

Jimmy Corrigan
Skyman

I was wondering who else will be able to make it this Friday.

Nah you don't need to. I plan on cooking stuff. If my cooking sucks I'll try to make acceptable options for snacks. No problem with past 6:00. I don't get off work till 5:00 anyways.

Thanks lots, Skyman. No dietary restrictions in our household, except Winter doesn't eat yellow cheeses or fresh tomatoes. If you're doing something involving lots of yellow cheese and tomatoes, let us know and we can bring him a nice sandwich. I eat anything that's food.

I'm trying to come up with a description of the game for Strategicon but I'm not very good at this. Below is what I have so far and if anyone has some suggestions I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

WOD Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

In the city of Ann Harbor lives the most typical of families, the Zuriks. A happily married couple with two kids, house and picket fence. On Christmas Eve Rebecca Zurik brings home her new boyfriend. Nothing is what it seems as secrets get revealed and the family changes forever.
