Exalted: Children of Dragons

Post by cczernia »

This Tuesday is my last Vamp go which means I've started thinking about oneshots. So, I'm thinking of doing an Exalted oneshot using the DragonBlooded.

It would basically being a group of young (14-18) DB who are in training. This of course is a month or say away but I thought I'd check and see if there was any interest.

I'd love to try Exalted. I bought the book and played in Smartmonkey's game, but due to him not having anything planned I think we wound up watching movies and drinking black & tans. :)

If you're thinking about running it in about a month, I'll be walking. C'mon, you can't run Exalted without the resident fanboy, can you?

Well, if things worked out correctly, and I could secure a ride downtown, then carpool with someone, then get a ride -home-, I could play right now. At the moment, though, thats pretty involved. In about a month or so I'll have a walking cast on, and -maybe- I'll be able to drive. So, hopefully in about a month, ideally, it'd either be on a weeknight, or during the break for Midsummers...

Plenty of room. You would be the 4th player unless of course Mordraine and JC are interested in the game and not just the black and tans.

I'd be interested in giving Exalted a try. Let me know when and whether i need to read up on any rules prior to game night (I'm a total newb to that game, but I think I can borrow the book for a while from a friend).

The game will take place on a small city on the coast of the Imperial Island. All the characters are young and still in school. From left to right.

Gabriella Ledaal - Secondary classman. She has a way with words and looks over the others. Gabriella is also a promising sorcereress.

Osmir Peleps - Upper Primary classman. Quick and calculating; always watching the others for possible allies. Both a calculating politician and skilled archerer.

Jerith Nellons - Lower Primary classman. Jerith has exalted recently and is trying to find his place in the world. He looks up to both Gabriella and Gavin.

Nyssa Mnemon - Upper Primary classman. Highly energetic she is also skilled martial artist.

Gavin Cathak - Secondary classman. An up and coming soldier. He is proven to be an excellent swordsman and tactician.

Yup. I'm looking over the sheets now, and since my game will run something like two months later on the timeline, I'm thinking a new charm/spell each'll work nicely.

Finally, I'm using my Exalted books for something besides bedside reading.
