So it looks like the shadowrun miniatures I ordered at Game Towne are discontinued. I'm curious, then, if anybody has any recommendations for finding modern and near-future minis. Tactical Minis has provided some excellent ones (and they're local!), but their selection is currently pretty limited, so I'm looking for more suggestions.

Steve Jackson games have a boxed set of 25 or 28mm "Special Ops" modern-era minis, I saw them at Game Towne. Check out the Warhammer 40k line, the Imperial Gaurd and Space Marine armies in particular. There's a huge number of models out for those and you might find something you might want to use.

Finding single (non-40k) science fiction models is pretty hard, not a whole lot out there. As far as cyberpunk minis, I can't remember the last time I saw any of those.

Thanks. I checked out the GURPS Cover Ops minis, but the quality on 'em was, sadly, substandard.

Yeah, they're kind of ugly.

I looked around and saw "Dark Future" Minis by Grenadier. Also very low quality. Too bad.

Woohoo, found a site that looks like they still have Ral Partha Shadowrun minis. Those'll work nicely.
