Going to start a game of Delta Green: Call of Cthulhu...possibly evolve to campaign. Not to be mistaken for the one shot I have brewing for sept 8.

Open roll call.

I think I'm going to incorporate some Secrets of Japan into it

D'oh! I just checked this after I sent out a reminder correcting the reminder that went out last night saying there wasn't a game!

High Lights of last nights game which was at the Otherside but moved to Drews:

2lbs of C4 is found missing...found missing?...that just sounds funny. Like how is something found and yet missing at the same time?
Group goes to Camp Pendleton
Meets Lt Commander Amanda Beard....If Dave can name his guy after a Robo Tech character, I can use an Olympian
Vivian Drake figures out the guy on the AM shift is an idiot
Hector Guerro convinces pfc Axel that the truth is always the best answer
Rick Hunter watches John Smith go WWE RAW on Axel
Vivian say's 'hold this'
The apartment is locked...and the guy with lockpick was not there. Which brings us back to forensics for some reason
Hector shows his badge to the land lady and say's I'm Harry...Land Lady replies 'it say's Hector' on the badge.
John Smith gets on the phone and say's Let them in Maggie to save further problems
We learn, never get nasty in front of R2D2
Vivian finds pr0n...and shares it on the internet
Dew has to wash his keyboard
Tramp Stamp
Ricks connection and Dew introduce the NPC Roman Gregor Petronovich...AKA Gregor the Axe...sounds cool. Too bad I didn't think of it
We learn that Axels girlfriend Illyana is actually a Russian gal named, in a less Russian name, Isabelle. WHo just happens to be daughter to the Axe. Does that make her a hatchet?
Call ahead for borschet(sp?)...because it is the only Russian food we know
The Red Sqare is staked out
Drew and Dave want someone else to raid the restraunt. Mike wants to stake it out...They compromise

Highlights of tonights game:

Hector and Viviana realize they need surveillance
Rick Hunter goes back to headquarters and gets NRO involved...NRO=National Reconaissance Office=Black Opps
Meet NRO Agent Mark Jones
Hector gets a shot of tequila and a corona I think at the bar next door
Viviana listens to Illyana and the Axe to find out that she is tired of playing kidnapped and goes partying
The party is next door and Hector is way ahead of her
Skyman gets a call and accepts a new job
Hector buys tequila for everyone
Viviana hears Axe converse with a German connection named Reinhart
The discovery of a Million and five hundred in a Cayman account
This does not add up?! I mean really who would you buy 2 kilos of C4 at $750,000 a kilo...oh 2lbs, or 2 kilos. I hate metric
Hector falls for 'Oh I dropped my lighter' trick and avoids getting kicked in the face
Vivianna goes into Jack Bauer 24 hour mode
Sweet Illyana and Hector get into a cat fight
They kidnap Axes daughter
Mark Jones pretends to be 911 dispatcher
Hector goes WWE on Illyana when she escapes
We watch more Pr0n and Viv flashes Dew teh cannons of Monte Cristo
Discover a white supremist group from Lakeside is involved
Axe gets arrested at the Balboa Arborium
Looking up Anubis Smith leads us to a missing CPS worker
Detective Gordon Williams joins and is going out to the Smith address with Viviana and Hector...plus anyone else who shows up next week. Because they're gonna need all the help they can get

Special Insight: While the Patriot Act may suck for individual privacy in reality. It kicks ass in RPG's

So if you been reading this. Obviously not your typical Skyman episodic CoC.

Hey, I had a horrible flight home and am totally exhuasted. Sorry guys, but I'm out for tonight. Besides, my place is freakin hot. I mean, a window to hell would be a cool breeze! If you still want to play, I can send you Vivian's stats... Sorry guys. :frown:

On a different note, I saw John Edwards (shook his hand!) and the Clintons in Iowa at a union rally.

So this was the part I was looking forward to the most in this romp. Glad you guys stuck thru the last three weeks.

High Lights:
Go to check out the last place where the missing CPS worker went and bagged a gaggle full of kids with the old Ice cream truck trick.
Hector shows his gun to the kiddies. Then he Crits and does a super plex on the kids
How many here have seen the B movie Hotel Hell? Remember that scene with the people being planted in the garden. Ok...just add a CPS worker in that image.
Racist make fun NPC's...because it leads to guiltless NPC bashing
Viviana gives ice cream to the kids to bridge the barrier of racism among the youth.
Hector say's back up would be normal protocal...gordon say's don't be a wuss let's clear the place first
GM chisles away sanity like Michael Angelo did the Pieta
Perversion's and imbred weirdness galore
Det Gordon(Infernus make shift character) butt strokes a zombie double time
It's a big and huge beastie...Viv shoots....It's a big and huge beastie with a canon size hole in it.
Anti-gravity black oozing guts that chase players
Viv jumps thru the puss filled chute
Hector almost goes insane but did not grasp the deep meaning of the gore feast
Back up arrives as Viv saves the NPC from certain death
Drew and Infernus figure out the coded letter by pure analytical reasoning
FBI Agent Charles Taylor meets the players and introduces them to Delta Green
The coded letter unfolds a plot to forcibly get a vial from Utah
Remember it's not the GPS...it's human error

Haven't heard from Simon anyway, so let's call it off. Perhaps we should consider shelving Tuesday games? Seems like it's been fading away for a while now.

Yes, some serious Tommygunology and Chainsaw Massacreing served up by our crack deltagreen crew, followed by a display of Marshal ineptitude as we tried unsuccessfully to tackle a girl.

SHe must've greased herself in crisco...fortunately shooting her down with crit shots worked better.

Rick + chainsaw = very cool

Hector + Molotov cocktail = towering inferno

I think Rick should get one additional SAN for guessing which movie this part of the campaign was based on.

Heads up guys. My wife needs the house this Thursday to study for her LCSW license exam...she is taking it this weekend. We'll play the following Thursday and get deeper into this game.

So next week well possibly find out:

Whats in the book? Or not...because you can't read with your eyes closed

Who is Stefanie Visor and what the heck is going on. As you guys drive off in the van she starts talking about the companies she has had connections with in the past...names like the Cabellera Family, Tiger Transit and the Skoptsi slip out but seem meaningless

Can you get Stefanie Visor to a safe house or to a plane?

Who is Bitterich and what about the maintenance man at the hotel who was the contact person for the guys with the C4?

What exactly is in that vial....and if so can I have some for my character

So these questions may be answered if you live long enough to find out..... or die trying

Hi,

I will not be able to make it tomorrow.
My wife was not feeling great today and will need to take care of her tomorrow.

Sorry for the late notice, but I should be there next week as she will be better by then ;P

Enjoy the game without French humor !

She is sleeping right now, and should be getting better. But I do not feel like letting her alone tomorrow night.
However it is nothing that serious, just bad timing

Actually I will have to cancel too (again).
My wife is working at Neurocrine, they just announced they are laying off 50% of the company tomorrow... Not sure if she will be impacted, but I will be a good hubby and stay home...

Have fun if you play !
