Shadowrun: Shattered Covenant

Post by Wintermute »

Is everyone still down to kick off this game on Saturday? I'd like to start around 4pm, or perhaps a little earlier with a BBQ/potluck.

We're supposed to alternate weeks with Changeling and Shadowrun, with one week Friday being Changeling and the next week Saturday being Shadowrun.

That said, I'd be ready to run Changeling this Friday if that's what everyone wants.

Also, I've got Butter all created. I'll have to email you my worksheet Winter.

We can certainly do that, provided everyone else is down. It does bring about the question of what to play next week, tho. :)

Would you be ready to run Shadowrun for two weeks in a row?

Shouldn't be a problem.

Could you make it on friday? I don't expect chargen to take a full night, we should be able to start in on the actual plot.

Now you're just confusing me.

How about we do Changeling this Friday. Make characters for Shadowrun this upcoming Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Then play Shadowrun the Saturday after next.

Jan 27: Changeling

Jan 28/29: Shadowrun Character gen

Feb 4: Shadowrun

Feb 10: Changeling

Feb 18: Shadowrun

i wouldn't be here for chargen, but i'm sure we can work around that. also, looking at my work calendar i see that there's a film on feb. 10. anyway we can push that to feb. 11? i think it's the last friday film thingy.

other than that, looks good.

My preference, assuming Albert can make it, would be to play Shadowrun this Friday (Jan 27), Changeling next Friday (Feb 3), and Shadowrun the next Saturday (Feb 11).

As much as I am excited about starting the Shadowrun adventure I would rather do Changeling this Friday because I like to have minimal time between adventures. It almost feels like we are starting over if 2 or more weeks go inbetween the games.

I was under the impression that Winter and Mord had already come to agreement that this weekend is S/R and I had sort of banked on it. It's important that we all be there so that we all have a cohesive group concept, I think. I'd really like to try and stick to that plan.
why don't you guys meet on saturday without me, and i'll create a character later in the week?
I'm not really willing to start the game with a player absent.

Playing every weekend, this is going to come up every time a session gets cancelled. I don't mean to be rude, but why didn't you bring this up at the last session when Andy announced he was going to Albuquerque and it was agreed that the schedule would be offset for this weekend?

Yep, it was agreed that SR would be put off one week so that I could participate (which means this week was to be SR).

I surely do sympthathize with you Chris. After this week, though, the schedule should smooth out.

Sorry. I wasn't aware that was the plan. I thought there was a possibility that we would be able to get together during the weekend but it got cancelled due to sickness and JC being busy.

If everyone wants to do Shadowrun that is fine. I was just stating my preference.

Don't sweat it. There was talk of a one-shot this past weekend, but Albert's plans and Neuro and my case of the superflu kinda nixed that.
