Here's what happened last Tuesday at our con meeting:
1. Welcomed new member - Old Gamer of the Sea! Welcome Robert!
2. Set a firm date for the con: 05-21-05
3. Still no venue found yet. Search will be intensified. New source for information: San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau. I've already visited the website. There is a "Find a Venue" feature there which I will be utilizing very soon.
4. All present committee members tasked to find two possible venues (complete with prices within budget range). They will present these possibles at next meeting.
5. Articles of Incorporation: We will be filling out and signing these before next meeting.
6. Promotion idea - get booth at next Condor convention held in San Diego.
Next meeting is Oct. 12th.
