Make your choice...

Post by mrlost »

Only you can decide which game I will run.

AFMBE Senior Citizen Slaughter II

C&C Darksun: The Jewel of Imix

Nobilis, a game of awesome power and terrible responsibility

Puppetland, a nightmarish storybook tale as told by you

Note I'm not going to bother prepping pregens for the games I'm not running, so decide on the game you most want to play.

[EDIT: I thought to mimic the other thread without realizing that I should just post in the Pimp you game thread, sorry please delete this]

Actually it's fine to have subpolls if you're having a hard time to narrow down what you want to run. Therefore, instead of deleting, I've voted for Dark Sun.

Well I wanted to run something people would like to try.

All Flesh Must Be Eaten is fun, but I did that last time though if people didn't get a chance to try it last time or they really liked the first game they can have another go.

I've been thinking Puppetland would be great for con games, and I've never actually run the thing.

Jimmy Corrigan begged me to run Nobilis, and I wouldn't mind running Dark Sun either. Come to think of it, Jimmy Corrigan suggested that too.

I might need to borrow your copy of C&C for a week though to finish making pregens, also need to dig up a C&C Psionics system.

EDIT if you aren't going to delete it, mind changing the title?

Wow, tough one... I think I'm voting for Puppetland, it just sounds too cool.

I had too much fun in the last AFMBE to not vote for it this time. Screw that high-minded indie game crap. Gimme a walker, my medicine, and some brain-eating zombies! And get off my lawn!

A) Albert's got that copy of C&C, so you'll have to ask him.

B) The D&D3.x psionics could probably be easily converted over to C&C. Or actually, you can use Grey-elf's Psionicist class

Puppetland!

Ok I voted for Puppetland. I read a decent review here:

Sounds like it would be a fun (one shot) game. I'm all about setting the dice down and playing an interactive story.

I don't know how your going to get away with not running AFMBE:2 though. Everyone I talked to had a really great time with it last year.

Well, its looking like Dark Sun is the winner. EDIT unless we get some more voters.

I guess I start posting C&C pregens this weekend. I'm preparing for as many as six players.

Well, hang on there, Turbo. Just because that's what four people want you to run right now doesn't mean that it'll necessarily be on the slate when we vote for all games. I bet it'll end up being one of the Chosen, personally, but there's no sense doing the work before we've done all the polling, no?

Hah! You have no idea how much and quickly I prep. Why I've already finished statting out three of the characters (the Defiler, Psionic, and the Gladiator), and I have motivations and juicy info for all six. I've already planned out a couple of encounters, and have been thinking about the grand finale of the scenario.

Besides, while I have free time now, who knows what the future will bring. Best let me do the drudgery now before the date or I'll end up waiting until the night before like I did last year.

Which reminds me, Jimmy Corrigan, I need to borrow C&C again to check on how to make a barbarian, a bard, and a ranger though. I figure its easy but I don't remember what their abilities are, or more importantly their Prime Attributes.
