RPG-sandiego Gaming Meet III

Post by cczernia »

Ok, it's that time of year again. RPG-sandiego gaming meet assuming everyone is still interested. First, does anyone want to host. If so, that person should set up 3-4 possible weekend days that will be available.

We then vote on the days we CAN'T make it.

This is not a good point in the year for me to make decisions like this. I'll know more about how things look in a few weeks. I strongly suggest waiting a little while to have this discussion.

I would be interested in running a game, but I want to play also.

I was thinking I might run Tribe 8, since I have premade characters and everything.
Whenever I get confused about D&D alignment morality, I just imagine Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandi arm wrestling shirtless on the back of a killer whale.

In other words, I remember that it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense and deal with it best I can.

Well last year, I ran one, and I played two (or was it three).

I did miss Planescape though.

I'm planning on proposing some one-shots that attract popular support but don't get enough votes to actually make it on the schedule. Then I will have fun playing in other people's awesome games instead.

Sorry, but that all-seniors AFMBE sequel is the kiss of... life. You're guaranteed to get an audience for that (among them, me).

Ya know if you really want to have a chance to play, then you might want to stop with the idea propositions...just a suggestion:biggrin:

Okay, so... anyone want to host? I want to get this shizzle on the rizzle. We're looking to do this sometime in April, right?

I think the hosting might go to Winter and Neuro, however, Neuro's requested putting off actual talk of dates until she has a firmer idea of their schedule (see her previous post earlier in thread). I don't mean to assume anything, mind you, but that's what I inferred from her post.

As to games to run... I'm thinking of a Dystopian Superhero game by way of Wild Talents, either that or a Deadlands Reloaded thingy. Not sure which yet. Maybe both!

Well if it is in April then I would be more than happy to volunteer my abode for any weekend after Easter (the 8th)....

We're happy to host here, but it's going to take another week or two before my schedule permits me to make firm plans. When that occurs, I'll post possible dates.
