Adventure in the Amazon!!

The adventure involves the group going into the Amazonian jungle to find and rescue a field scientist who's gone missing. So, here's the group:

Cutter Davis – Dashing and handsome, Cutter is a man of action. He loves a rousing adventure, and is not adverse to a beautiful woman or two either. Think Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China. Cutter is on this rescue mission because It Is The Right Thing To Do.

Professor Sterling Marsh – Marsh is a brilliant archeologist and anthropologist. He’s tall, thin but wiry, and extremely intelligent. One part Indiana Jones, two parts Professor Utonium from Powerpuff Girls. Prof Marsh is on this mission because he is great friends with the missing scientist.

Cara Styles – Cara is a curious and adept freelance newspaper reporter. Cool as a cucumber under pressure. She is blonde and pale and beautiful. Picture Polly Perkins (Gwyneth Paltrow) from Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Cara’s along, obviously, because she thinks it’ll make a great story!

Elgin Astur – Elgin has a definite gypsy look to him. Olive skinned and dark haired, personable and easy-going, he dresses in flamboyant colors. He’s lithe and graceful as well. A veritable acrobat! Douglas Fairbanks all the way… Elgin is Cutter’s good friend and partner. They do most things together, including traipsing into the jungle to find lost scientists.

Jackie Fallow – She’s the tomboy jack-of-all-trades always trying to prove herself. Never seen without her monkey wrench, she dresses in overalls that hide her feminine form. But she cleans up nicely! Like Kaylee Frye from Firefly (obscure reference, I know… sorry). Jackie is tagging along mostly because she thinks they’ll be a total failure without her.

Ming – Inscrutable and mysterious, no-one knows exactly what motivates Ming. He is, however, an obvious value to the group, due to his wisdom and martial art skills. Ming has a definite Asian look, and dresses in loose fitting black silk clothes, cut in a Chinese style. Think Chow Yun Fat.

I appreciate the offer, Mord. But as it stands now, money is an issue, but not the only one. Anyways, I'm sorry for having to back out. Such is life. :(

If something happens and I can show up, I'll just either fill in on any game that has a spot (since they pretty much all sounded good), or I'll lurk and enjoy. :)

Sorry, but I'll be too busy going through solo modules off in the corner. That's right. The game's so good I don't need anyone else. I can play with myself.

What, "curve" is a dirty word now? That's a stretch worthy of Mr. Fantastic.

The two characters left are Cutter and Cara.
