Also known as 'The Hyph' or the more wordy 'rpg-sandiego all-day meet-up'. This is the place to discuss everything related to our yearly November mini-con.

Hyphen-Con the 15th (2019) - General Announcements

Post by SpaceMonkey »

Time to start getting ready for this year's Hyphen-con, our 15th one!

When: Saturday Nov 2nd and Sunday Nov 3rd, 2019
Where: Mordraine's Offices (thanks for hosting again Andy!) [Note, offices will be in the same location in Sorrento Valley area, details/address to follow later]
What: RPGs and Potluck on Sat, Board/Card/other games on Sun. Game swap (bring your old games to trade) either day, but Sat usually has more people and trades. Prizes & other craziness TBD
Who: is running things? We vote! So start thinking about what you want to run (max of 2 submissions per GM please). I'll be posting the 'Pimp your game' thread right after this post.
Why: Because 'The Hyph' is awesome!

Discussion, things I forgot, etc - this thread you are reading right now.
Put your hat in the ring to run games - the 'Pimp Your Game' thread.
More to come later.

--> Make sure to Subscribe to this thread so you will be notified when new stuff happens. I'll be posting to last year's thread so everyone subscribed there will get an email also and I'll send out a mass email to all users. Chris has posted to Facebook also.

... And I expect to see Mike there, as we tried very hard to accommodate him! The only thing I can think of to do extra would be a (belated) Weathertop Stabbing Day cake.

Okay, I will do all I can to be there. I do appreciate you scheduling this around my whining (which does take up a lot of my time), so the least I can do is try to make it.

Gotta think of two games to pitch, is all.

Okay, games are PITCHED. Is it a bad idea that one of my pitches is for a game I've only played once while the other is for a game that will require me reading at least one Star Wars novel before I'll feel comfortable with it? I think it probably is, but imagine the payoff...!

Is no one going to pitch a Feast of Legends game? Is there a Wendy's near Kore?
