A Hyphen-Con idea.

Also known as 'The Hyph' or the more wordy 'rpg-sandiego all-day meet-up'. This is the place to discuss everything related to our yearly November mini-con.

A Hyphen-Con idea.

Post by BlanchPrez »

Just an idea, I thought I would throw this out now while I was thinking of it.

What would people think of turning the con into a two day event, with day 1 being on Friday Night, and having Friday being dedicated to Board/Card games?

A two-day con event?! Now we're talking crazy talk!

Actually, I would not be opposed to this at all. That would be fun. Scheduling might need to be discussed... maybe Saturday as the RPG day and Sunday as the board-game/card-game day. The current venue being my work offices, I'm not sure when the last folks would be cleared out on Friday afternoon so that we could start gaming.
Hey man, I'm slinging volume and fat stacking benjies, you know what I mean? I can't be all about spelling and shit!

Sunday would work too.

Also, I recently got put in charge of Condor gaming and hope to have board and card games there. So, if you are interested in running anything let me know.

Condor is February 26-28. Here is the website. I plan on updating the gaming page soon. So, if anyone wants to help out or run games let me know. I also got Chris (sOOp from the old days) to run miniature games.

I'd totally love to help out with that, but... I can't really speak to my availability right now. I have a feeling I'll be lucky if I make it out to OrcCon.
