Not sure if I'll have enough players(possibly 2-4 at the moment), but here are the characters for those who are interested:
Dusty, Dog-pack Soldier: Dusty is an engineered humanoid doberman in service of the Coalition State. He has been bred from birth to serve the Coalition, but is eager to escape. He has gotten a post at the edge of CS territory, his freedom, he hopes, is not far off.
Arthur Mason, Human Line-Walker: Arthur is a mage in service to the nation of Lazlo, a country founded by mages and magical beings. He has spent the last few years mapping the rifts and nexus points in Old Texas. To fund his research, he has taken a position with the Hambry city milita. As a citizen of Lazlo, he is also expected to keep a close eye on any Coalition activity he comes across.
Jeffrey Wahl, Human Coalition Officer: Jeffery is an officer who has just risen to his rank in the Coalition army. With his new rank he has been given a wider view of just how his government operates, and it disturbs him. The genocidal hatred of non-human beings, the persecution of mages and psychics, and "pure" humans are treated little better. Worst of all, he has become aware of his own psychic ability. To reveal this he would be stripped of his citizenship. To be caught with it would mean execution.
Hank, DB Mercenary: Hank's real name is unpronouncable to humans. Hank was a soldier sent to investigate a rift in his own world, and appeared here on Earth, alone. Hank is an adaptable creature and his strength and martial skill earned him a place with the Texans, a mercenary company roaming the region he appeared in. Hank is a large reptile-like creature with a thick hide and bony spines around his hands, elbows and spine.
Red Cloud, Human Cyberknight: Red cloud was the only member of the Kiowa indian tribe to be accepted as Cyber-Knight apprentace. His training completed, he has spent the last three years in the southern half of Old America, protecting the innocent and bringing honor to his order and tribe. His order has asked him to take a position with the milita of a small city called Hambry. The order feels that the town will become an important place in he comming months.
Daniel Valera, Operator: Daniel is a young man with an almost supernatural knack for machinery. Orphaned at an early age, he was taken in by a mercenary band known as the Texans. Since he has grown to adulthood, he has taken fighting roles as a mecha pilot in addition to the repair and maintenance of the mercany companies machinery.

Well, I hate to do this, but I can't make it tonight. My girlfriend and I are moving this weekend (anyone want to help?), and I need to be home to get stuff ready. Sorry. :(

Heh. Just one of those weeks. Guy across from me is already saying "Is it time to go home yet?"

Hell, I say that everyday at about 8:00 am.

I don't work with idiots, luckily. Some of 'em are conservatives though.
I will be there definitely. Hope there are a few folks that show!!! sheesh... Well if not, I'll see if they have OGL Wild West in and buy that if they have it.

Hey man, I'm slinging volume and fat stacking benjies, you know what I mean? I can't be all about spelling and shit!

I can sympathize. I drove to San Marcos (from downtown SD) today because all the printers at our store had gone off-line. We tried to get this done over the phone, but no luck. I spend 45 minutes in traffic and find out that the store decorator unplugged the print server so she could plug in her radio. She said she thought it was ok since it didn't look like it was doing anything. Worse yet, I asked over the phone if the printer server's lights were on and they said yes. There is no emoticon for this level of annoyed.
As long as we have at least 3 people I can run it.

I'm proud to say I'm one of those idiots everyone else works with :P[/quote:02424fe4d2]
Why does this not surprise me? :P

One of these days, I'm going make a styrofoam wall piece that you can bang your head against. It will make a satisfying "thud" noise when you hit it.
I'll make a fortune on it.

I prefer to use a real wall. Toughens the head, and freaks the co-workers out. :D
Or you can use your desktop. They have enough give to make a nice sound, without doing any damage. And you get the added bonus of things being knocked over. Very satisfying. ;)

There's going to be a part II? Is it possible for me to get in on that? I might be able to make it then.
