Anyone interested in Unknown Armies Jailbreak?
Yep you heard right. Jailbreak. The awesome Unknown Armies hostage scenario. Four convicts, five hostages, and one gun. Do the math!
Anyway, I wanted to gauge the interest because I either want to run this scenario again (I've run it once before for seven players, and it was beyond cool) or run a Conspiracy X 2.0 one shot.
Since I haven't got a Con X one-shot, at least not yet, I'd like to do this.

When? That's my only issue, really. I'm up for whatever.

Well I could probably host, alternately I'd be open to other locations. I'm in City Heights btw.
I would prefer to run for anywhere between six and nine players. The scenario is driven by player vs. player action. Though it could work for as few as two PCs it wouldn't be nearly as cool.
What dates can people make? A saturday or week day afternoon would be best for me.

A Saturday, yes. A weekday, no. But, as always, set a date without me, and if I can make it, I'll make it. I'm not going to inconvenience everyone else just because I have a long drive.

I would be interested. It sounds fun.
Whenever I get confused about D&D alignment morality, I just imagine Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandi arm wrestling shirtless on the back of a killer whale.
In other words, I remember that it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense and deal with it best I can.

A spare table would be great.
I'm figuring that people could start arriving around 4:00pm approximately. I have a couple things to take care of that morning and I want to make sure I have plenty of time.
I should probably PM my address out to everyone. I live in the City Heights suburbs near Home Ave just so you know the general area.

Update: We still met without Mr. Lost and made what we could of it. Mord and myself offered games, in particular, Adventure-Mords game that he was not able to run at the last meetup and the Call of Cthulhu/ Secrets of Japan thing I recently wrote. We ended up going with the CoC. (I had a hankering of running and cooking fried chicken at the same time. It was like my character in WOTG...)
In between the void of things...some of the guys were able to work on Character Gens for a Noir M&M game that Devlin got going in production.
Aside from all that I just hope I did not scare folks away from coming to my one shots later this month.

Well... no, we didn't especially do much of that, or at least nothing beyond the standard book-browsing that most gamers do when they're in the half of the split party that's not in the spotlight. Besides, the CoC game was a good time and we were all in too much of a don't-let-the-evil-from-beyond-enter-our-world mood to get too distracted by M&M stuff.
Oh well my bad...
The only bad was that all of us survived and no one came out of it with a permanent insanity. It's because we were all so damn competent (and rolling loaded dice).

Mord had it rough in the end...your guy and Winters ATF on the other hand layed on a lot of hurt.
I was actually refering to the M&M thing. I know you guys had that in the plans and I was trying to make sure you guys could get around to it. I thought you guys had...in some bizarre way...thus my bad.

Oh, no, don't sweat that. For those 20 minutes when we thought there'd be no game at all we were going to do that, but once there was a game to play it was a different story. Thanks again for running.
Oh thank you, Skyman. I was so worried about having to cancel. Damn it.
Anyway, I ended up blowing out a tire and denting a rim on my kia. By the time AAA got me back to town what few Automotive places were closed. I got my car fixed on sunday (wheee!).
So sorry.
S'okay. Shit happens. But let this be a lesson to you: Don't go to the desert.
