Well, I'd have to do the same for the opposition then, wouldn't I? I don't think you would like it very much... :)

As a side note, however - don't forget that in Conan every character gets an attribute point at 4th level (as normal) and all 6 attributes go up by one each at 6th level...

I love this game.

I've made (mostly) a Zamorian thief, a Vendyhan noble, and a Southern Black Islander Pirate. They fill radically different niches, so... whatever's needed. They're all fun.

But the pirate is named Eko.

More or less, yeah. He's a caution, that one. What I like about these characters (and Conan characters in general) is that each has his "schtick" in combat (and out of it). Dmitri sneak attacks like a mother, Rajagupta's Feints are nigh impossible to counter, and Eko... well, he's got this big stick, see....

Hey guys….
I’d like to apologize; I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to the game,
I had a sudden burst of inspiration and thought myself a plumber, tried to change the fixtures and hardware from the bathroom, (on a Friday night of all) and broke the pipes….
Home depot I guess is closed about now, so I’ll do what I can for now then tomorrow finish or call somebody (most probably have to call a real plumber)
Oh man…i should just pull my Tulwar and clean out!!!
Well, hope to make the next one…

Huh.

Sam, how many players do we have? I can have a whip-round and see if I can get a couple friends to come out and play.

Also, sorry to hear about your plumbing woes, Belkregos. You gotta leave that sort of thing to Mario, man. Sucks that you have to miss out-- or do you? I mean, we're not playing until 1:00....

Yea…I’ll have to call Mario for sure, at least it’s not leaking, I was able to close the water,

Hope to finish early but it does not look promising….…well, I’ll see what I more I can do tonight …hopefully I wont cause any more damage…

Well, let's see.. that leaves us with:

Andy,
Mike,
Todd (guy I'm bringing, the other guy I had as a maybe won't be there)
(Albert? Maybe? or something?)

and that's it, near as I can count. 3-4 players is a little on the lean side (I'd probably pare off a bit of the carnage to compensate), but still quite doable.

We can reschedule if need be also, I suppose...

What's everyone else think?

I am opposed to rescheduling.

You'll be happy to know that Gurkun got some use in the game (since we didn't want a party full of archers, thieves and sorcerers alone...)

I wouldn't mind playing in an ongoing game - I just don't think I have the time to GM one, especially right now.

yeah, we missed ya. coulda used another hand with the brythunian (sp?) pygmies and the colossal apeman of death.

as for a regular game, it would depend on the frequency and time, but i had a lot of fun and would consider the possibility.

I actually screwed up there a bit too. The followers weren't supposed to flee in terror - they were less than level 3, so they should have swooned helplessly for many minutes :)
