Yes I'm glad they didn't keep you there thru the morning. Travel chi is strong in you.
I only say GURPs before HERO because of my order of experience. Not in either's superior quality over the other... or which gave birth to the other... such things are trivial when in capable hands such as yours.

I know. I'm just being a jerk.
But I am
Technically, I played GURPS before HERO myself, but that was back in high school (although I remember playing Worlds of Wonder, Steve Jackson's prototypical GURPS, in... elementary school?), and we didn't play it much before I lent my boxed set to this guy Mike Choi, and then I didn't get it back from him before I graduated, and then he went to, like, some kind of "institution" because he was a little on the unstable side. So needless to say, I never saw my GURPS boxed set again.
However, I do have 3rd Edition and many, many supplements for it in PDF form, thanks to that bisexual porn addict who ran the Paranoia game Albert and I were in earlier this year. But the only one I've read is GURPS Sex.
