It's that season again and I just DL'ed an adventure with a Halloween theme for CoC. Is anyone interested?

orange and gold. Youâ€™re family left their automobile in Dunwich village and were being

driven by horse and wagon up to Great Grandpa Silasâ€™s farm. The trip was like going

back in time; to a simpler age. Itâ€™s a warm day for late October, without a cloud in the

sky. Today was going to be a wonderful day.

Nobody knew how old Great Grandpa Silas was, but he was old. Really old,

maybe close to a hundred. That didnâ€™t stop the man from working his farm or being more

active then men half his age. Great Grandpa Silas was a very fortunate man, well liked

by his neighbors, with a prosperous farm (a rare thing in Dunwich) and a large family.

Heâ€™s a tough old bird who enjoys the simple things in life, good food, a good pipe and

parties. The only thing Great Grandpa Silas liked more than a good party was Halloween.

All your lives youâ€™d had four favorite days during the year: Christmas morning,

the last day of school, your own birthday and Great Grandpa Silasâ€™s Halloween party.

The trip to the remote farm was a long one, the roads poor but your family wouldnâ€™t miss

this for the world. During the day thereâ€™d be loads of activities for the younger family

members to enjoy â€“ apple picking, pumpkin carving, hayrides and potato sack races.

After dark there would be a huge feast followed by lots of desserts. As the hour grew late

the adults would tell ghost stories before retiring for the night. Youâ€™re families would

then leave the next morning, returning home and starting to look forward to next year.

You arrive at the large house deep in the hills of Dunwich, a place where all of

you can trace your roots back to. Great Grandpa Silas had plenty of land; his nearest

neighbor almost three miles away. As the families gathered in the front yard, exchanging

greetings Silas comes out of the house. Greeting everyone by name (the old man was

still as sharp as a tack) he saves his warmest welcome for his six great grand children.

â€œWelcome back ta the farm! Ahâ€™m ah hopin yer ready for ah good time, cause ahâ€™ve gots

plenty planned fer ya ta do taday.â€ Hugs are given, as his rough hands sneak a silver

dollar to you, with a sly wink. â€œLets keep dis quiet, donâ€™t want ma grand children ta

think ahâ€™m spoilin ya. Ah did da same when dey were yer age, donâ€™chaâ€™know. Come on

now, round back, Ahâ€™ve got some cake laid out. Who wants some cold cider?â€

This is the intro to the game, and yes, you play the great grand children. This has a definate Halloween feel!

Halloween's a Monday, actually. At any rate, I'd probably have a hard time making it nearly anytime, so don't let me be a factor in the scheduling.

I'm down. Scheduling won't be too tight for me next week (or early the week after), so don't worry about me on that - just pick a good day for everyone else. If its on a weeknight, I can manage 6:30 or 7pm for a start time, as usual - depending on where it would be, also.

PC's for the game

Alice Sanders- 13yo-girl with a switchblade and secrets galore. You think there are secrets being held from you by the family as well. You come with your mom and look forward to seeing the other kids in the family your age. It's always fun this time of the year on the farm.

Edward Derby- 12yo-boy with glasses looking forward to the trip to Great Grandpa Silas's farm. The air, the food, the simple mindlessness of it all really recharges your mind. Your very smart and an inquisitive son of a Miskatonic Professor. You like to read books...and eating candy apples at the farm.

Gertrude "Girdie" Pope- 11yo-girl who most people, in Dunwhich, think is crazy...BTW, you don't care about most people in Dunwhich. The great thing about the other family cousins is that they don't see you as crazy and you're just another cousin in the family having a good time at the farm. Halloween! Yea!

Donald Sutton- 11yo-boy who loves the parties at Great Grandpa Silas's farm. The food, the running around playing, picking apples, it's something you look forward to all year long. You are an artist and like to sketch things that you see. That is just one of your gifts.

Gordon Brewster- 12yo-boy who lives the farm life. You make extra money for the family by cutting wood. Most of the year is hard work and you help out great grandpa Silas when you can on top of that.

George Weedon- 13yo-boy who is a jock superstar in training. Your dad is overbearing and pushes you hard at all the sports you do. You've been looking forward to this trip all year. Baseball, baseball mitt, baseball bat and rolled comics sticking out of your back pocket. Your good to go!

Yes...this is fairly open and is meant as a demo for the system. Since most of you haven't played the BRP version so this would be pretty good intro. It's mostly percentile dice
