any Conan Games?

Post by belkregos »

Hi everybody, kind of new to the forum, (this is my…third post now :) )
Anyways, I was am hoping to hear if anybody has a Conan game going with a spot open for a player.
I have no problem driving and the time I think can be worked out,
Well, just wanted to know if there was any interest and hoping for a spot in a game,

Thanks

Welcome and whatnot!

Well, I ran a Conan One-Shot a few weeks ago. I wouldn't mind running a Part 2 to it, if enough people were interested.

One shots are a great way to find out about other games. I hope you can try a few of those.

Count me in if it happens

So how did the first part go? How many players did you get? Was there much interest for the game? What did the guys thought of the game (rules and stuff)?

What was the adventure about?

man, i'm sorry i missed it...

Lotta questions hu :) , well, I’d like to know what people here think bout the game

Thanks

The adventure was very simple, and you can read much of the setup under the "Blood, Death, and Vengence" thread. Er, I think. I believe we had like 5 players, and there was *much* hewing of limbs and involved escaping a pirate vessel, taking it over, and beginning the hunt for the crazed wizard who had put them into that position.

I like the rules alright, though sometimes, its a bit crunchy, and from a GM's perspective, there's a lot of little rules that are easy to forget. But, it was not so crunchy that a decent pace couldn't be maintained.

I've always preferred armor as DR vs 'Armor Class'

i can attest to the fun of boc's conan one-shot. being a sage with the ability to make hypnotical suggestions is badass. so is stealing devlin1's kill.

i'd be up for seconds, barring work.
