40K and Warhammer Fantasy Battle

Post by Count Zero »

So I have finally decided to give in. I am going to start playing Warhammer Fantasy Battles and Warhammer 40K. I know there are a few of you out there who have minis.

I want to start small. I have heard about building campaigns where you start with about 750 pts and build from there. Each week or time you meet you add a few more points. It allows you to field painted miniatures and not have to fork out tons of cash at once.

Would you guys be interested in playing?
Whenever I get confused about D&D alignment morality, I just imagine Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandi arm wrestling shirtless on the back of a killer whale.

In other words, I remember that it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense and deal with it best I can.

Hey, I have been wanting to play some 40k for a while now. Haven't played in many, many years. Have a couple armies: Eldar and Tyrinad

Well, I'm going to be pretty busy until after the new year... How about we shoot for some time in January? The fifteenth is MLK Jr. Day if you have it off.

Oh, I could be intrested in this. I don't have the latest set of rules, but somewhere in a box in my house I have a bunch of Space Marines. Depends on when you play and if I can find the army.

I'd be up for this too. I have a little Tyranid army I could play with, and Tom gave me his Orks when he moved to Chicago.
