So the PC I'm on doesn't run much in the way of new games, so I've been having a bit of a retro gaming renaissance:
Dune 2 - the first RTS I ever played. Bonus: Makes the Dune novel seem readable. Downside: It isn't.

Transcendence - freeware. I found this on a random google search. The designers goal was 'a roguelike, only in space'. It's a top-down space shooter which takes more from Elite or Wing Commander: Privateer than Asteroids. Its kept me occupied for a solid month, which says something. Upside: A huge variety of equipment and enemies, high replayability. Downside: No ending (just a score screen), difficulty ramps up quickly in the later game.

Anacreon. Hosted by the same guy that produced Transcendence. Conquer the remnants of a stagnant galaxy spanning empire in the far future. Quite a bit more epic feeling than any of the MOO series - planets have realistic population growth and resource consumption, fleets of hundreds of thousands of ships riding along with planet-sized star fortresses aren't uncommon. Upside: See above. Downside: One helluva learning curve.

So, yeah. Just sharing my current gaming obsessions.

I'd like to be playing Tourist Trophy, I'm digging on Resident Evil 4, but right now I'm watching Neuro play Kingdom Hearts 2. :)

Tourist Trophy is so beautiful it makes my eyes bleed. And, if it's anything like Gran Turismo, it'll be crunchy goodness.
I need a console system. I really do.

Most of my computer gaming time lately has been on CoH. I've been feeling a need to play Neverwinter Nights again, though, so I might be loading that up soon.
