Brush on Primer

Post by nadin brzezinski »

so we teach kids how to paint, and they cannot use spray on primer... something about tagging... so GW removes their brush on primer, IWM is now getting hard to get, and Reaper ... well nobody has any. So we decided to give Tamiya's flat base a whirl. We found that it works great with plastics and metals, but keep it away from resins... oh and it takes about an hour to cure (dry)... not quite what will work with the wee folk, but if you are in need of a brush on prmier, there you go.

I always use the $3/can automotive sandable primer. The joys of being over 18, I suppose. :)
