Weekly Game 4: A New Hope
So, what the deal for tomorrow? Infernus stated last week that he probably won't be available...

I'd like to try and play something tomorrow. We'll figure out some place to play. But, first, let's see who's going to make it.
FUBAR Roll Call!
I'll be there.
Sweet! So, assuming Infernus can, is it TWLD? I lost track...
Uh... I was going to say no, because we played TWLD when you missed, but then I realized that was two weeks ago, so... yeah, it's TWLD.

Okay, fair warning. Both my wife and child are home sick today, whch means I am home sick taking care of them.
As far as I know of, I am still going to make it tonight (if nothing else, I have to pick up something from Tom), but there's a chance I won't be able to stay for the game.
I'll let you all know.

Ok, who has something to bring as a back up game? Richard usually has a lot of crap. Infernus maybe could do that post-apocolyptic time-warp thingy again. That was hella cool!
And I hope they both get better soon. Nothing worse than a mom and kid at home sick.

Yeah, sounds like a plan.
Tom, do you still want to meet at Sony?

Oh now your calling me names...first you just hated me. Now I'm the happiest place in the world. I hope you don't still hate me because...well...that would imply you don't like...you know...the happiest place in the world. Not that it would be a bad thing. Just saying.
BTW thanx for the insincere apology

You're very sensitive. You should know me better than that. I LOVE the happiest place on Earth. I wish I could go there everyday!
And I love you Skyman. I just wish I could quit you.

Okay, who all is going to be there tomorrow?
I will. I'm ready to go with Necessary Evil.
On the other hand, if you guys want to play WLD, I can be ready to go with that too. Just let me know which one you want to play.

No, that's just John. :P
Seriouslly, I would love to run NE, but I try to be open to the group. After all, without you guys, I don't have a game to play.

No, I'm just saying that sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who gets excited about anything.
But, I'm a whiney bitch, with a serious martyr complex. So, per usual, ignore my rants. I'm sure NE will be fun.
Baron Von Malice, to the rescue!

10 minutes of creativity...
Stavros Von Malus
aka Baron Von Malice
Transylvania. The mere name conjurs images of vampires, werewolves and the walking dead. Thanks to the exploits one, rather eccentric historical figure, the world will always associate these images with the mountainous, stormy countryside.
But what many do not know is that real power behind the legends and the country itself has always been the Von Malus family. This ancient line has always been present. Merchants, emissaries, political advisors. The Von Malus men have always had their hands in the goings on of the wide world.
But, with the fall of the Iron Curtain and the end of the Cold War, there became a decided lack of need for the Von Malus’ talents for working in secret, in the shadows of politics. The new orders no longer sought them out. And so, they became strictly merchants. Maintaining wealth and power through the economies of the world. And while this new era was embraced my much of the family, the youngest son of Yurian Von Malus was not pleased. He wished for the old ways.
And thus was born Baron Von Malice, would-be ruler from the shadows. With his hi-tech armor, his army of loyal followers, and his keen insight into the darker side of mankind, Malice soon became a force to be reckoned with. It was only through the combined efforts of those who would be “heroes†that he was ever prevented from what he saw as his destiny.
But now the Heroes are gone. And the world is threatened by a power from beyond the sky. Malice has embraced this new time as an opportunity for his plans to finally see fruition. All that remains is to forge the rest of his fellow “villains†into a coherent force, and take back the world from the Aliens. And when that is done, his eyes will turn to those who previously sought his demise. Now they will see him as he truly is. The visionary leader of tomorrow.
