Background
It is 2026 and the US is no longer the world power that we know today. Not that Americans are 2nd class citizens but we don't call the shots like we use to. India, Liberia and Morroco have become powerful countries with advances in technology. North Korea is a waste land after a confrontation with China. Japan has been left unscathed and currently helps support US in different goverment branches. Great Britian has fallen into a deep depression as their economy was hit hardest by the changes in the economy. Russia and the US has colonized the moon and mars. The big software company Microsoft is now only a internet browser. Things have changed and a dark shadow falls upon the quiet town of Arkham USA.

The story so far...
So a scantily clad woman arrives at JJ's dorm room on Miskatonic campus asking to see Professor Reynolds. People are after her and it becomes apparent to JJ he is over his head. Two men posing as CDC workers confront JJ on the mysterious girl but JJ realizes these men are not who they seem and misdirects them to Reynolds office. Meanwhile Dr Reynolds and his fellow professor/computer engineer colleague friend Hakim visit JJ in his dorm after getting his call. The girl seems to be suffering some form of amnesia and only gives them cryptic information that doesn't make much sense. They discover a subdermal marker in her inner thigh that glows the numbers 05.

The men take the mysterious woman to a Pediatrician named Tracy Birkham and Neurologist Don Shimada in the Miskatonic Biomedical building. After finding out she can speak more than 12 languages fluently the are able to job her memory enough to get her name, Hiromi. Hakim hacks into the computer system and discovers possible links to the secret behind Hiromi. JJ discovers people are trying to find them through their pagers and cell phones. Obviously Hiromi is being hunted down by unknown forces. Fear is in the air.

Hakim finds out that there was secret lab in the biology building and the group, minus Tracy and Don, head down to the lab. They discover the remnants of an ALPO (Animal Liberation Peace Organization) raid on the lab. Weird graffitti designs are found and the words ai ai Shub Niggurath is splattered across most of the walls. Hakim discovers a website of a local Arkham Hippie cult that uses the designs and words.

The group breaks into the lab and find a room where they believe Hiromi was held. Before the group can leave security personel and a doctor of some sort come down the elevator. Dr Reynolds shoots the doctor with a tranquilizer gun that they found in the Monkey pen earlier. Professor Reynolds steals the doctors keys and ID card to break into a locked room. The security guards seem to have disappeared and Hiromi urges the group to leave. JJ feels uneasy about Hiromi and thinks she disposed the security detail. Hakim and Reynolds find lab techs and a room full of cloned men Trevor 06 and such. They figure out that the clones had forced growth in the past 4 months and had been given some unknown injections. JJ discovers Hiromi has run away. The group takes the clones and Lab techs to the first floor but are confronted by the men who posed as the CDC agents. After two more CDC posers arrive a gun fight ensues with JJ. Hakim runs away with Reynolds right behind him. Reynolds was able to get a .45 auto from one of the CDC men and shoot one as he was running away.

Hakim blogs the secret of the lab on the internet while Reynolds guides him to safety....

JJ narrowly escapes and run the opposite direction from his friends. As he crosses the campus lawn he sees Hiromi flagging him down. She says "I think there is something wrong with me." JJ takes her to the dorms to change his clothes and discovers his friend Scott has been kidnapped...

So that is a synopsis of the game. We kinda beer bottled the elements and had in character bonuses.

The in character bonuses went as follows:
+3% if saying lines appropriate for character
+5% making decisions or behaviours congruent to character
+8% Doing both
+10% when doing so is detrimental for the character

Ex) So Hakim rolls a 68% but needs a 65% to be successful when doing a electrical hacking job. Hakim makes the side commentary while splicing wires to the effect of "What kinda morons put this together. It's like they thought it was spaghetti or something. Now heres how it's done." Hakim gets an additional +3% to his base 65% and has 68% so his rollis now successful.
