"The rules eliminate the input of federal wildlife scientists in some endangered species cases, allowing the federal agency in charge of building, authorizing or funding a project to determine for itself whether the project is likely to harm endangered wildlife and plants."

In other words, the people the government contracts to build these projects get to decide whether or not it a danger to the environment or not. Huh. Wonder how I get this kind of over site on my own job.

How does this kind of political wrangling still exist in this day and age when everyone knows about it? The sad thing is they might still pull it off. "Drill baby, drill."

That's me quoting, NOT endorsing! When I own that stock in GM I was talking about, I'm going to march into the boardroom and demand they make AFFORDABLE alternative fuel vehicles. I can do that as a shareholder right? I mean I see it in the movies and TV so it MUST be true.
