Fiasco

Post by BlanchPrez »

Has anyone here heard of or played this game Fiasco?

It looks like a ton of fun. It's pretty cheep, too, and a bunch of the settings for it are free. I'm tempted to pick it up.

I haven't played it, but I'm curious to check it out.

Hamish (who will be at Hyphen-Con) ran a Fiasco Tomb of Horrors at OrcCon. And Morgan's mentioned possibly running an off-the-books Fiasco game (like we have books!) at Hyphen-Con, possibly on Sunday. It's a GM-less game, so... that's kinda like a boardgame, right?

Anyway, you/I may get a chance to try it out this weekend.

Its cheap and with the right people it's fun/hilarious as heck! I will bring mine to the Hyphen if you want to check it out before purchasing. If you go ahead and buy it I wouldn't mind playing it with you

It is a fun game but very rules light. Dice do little more than help determine setup. Otherwise it is all narrative with the only choices being if you want to setup or resolve a scene and if that scene is beneficial to your character.
