Gaming promotes gang-related activity? Are Bloods and Crips infiltrating the RPGA?

To associate D&D with gang like behavior is... silly. On the other hand, why should criminals get to have as much fun as good law-abiding citizens?

Well, it keeps them occupied. Idle hands are the devil's playthings. I would much rather have them playing D&D in hopes that it relieves tensions and prevents the next prisoner shanking, or guard shanking for that matter

Whenever I get confused about D&D alignment morality, I just imagine Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Ghandi arm wrestling shirtless on the back of a killer whale.

In other words, I remember that it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense and deal with it best I can.

I have to agree with this. Once upon a time, correctional facilities were dedicated to REHABILITATION, not punishment alone.

This reminds me of an old cartoon in one of those past gaming magazines. A man in a prison cell is lamenting that all the other inmates only want to play thieves. :)
