Correct! For the fourth example. That particular page comes from the first edition of Empire of the Petal Throne, published in 1975 by TSR.

Actually, is the first one Gamma World? Something about figuring out technology? Expedition to the Barrier Peaks had something similar, IIRC.

The second one looks like it should've come from Breaking The Ice or something, but the metagamer in me doesn't think you'd post something from Breaking The Ice.

The third one... I dunno. Looks like more post-apoc weirdness. I guess it could just be straight-up old sci-fi, like Star Frontiers. Relatively sure it isn't Boot Hill or Gangbusters.

I knew the fourth one was Tekumel, but I was more interested in making a joke than answering the question. Was.

The second one is from a fairly new hippy indie game. The third one is from a really obscure game based on a really obscure comic book.

I haven't quite wrapped my head around using zones for social combat. I get the idea and intent, but it still seems artificial to me.

Nope and nope. I think all three of these are kinda too hard.

No guess on the useless second diagram? Seriously, can you imagine someone asking "Well, what does a mob formation look like?" and actually being helped by that diagram?

This is a good guess, but no. I predict that only Andy would have a shot at identifying those three, and even then only with some research.
