It's up on Craigslist, figured I'd offer it here, too.

Hey, if this is still available, I'll have the money for it tomorrow night at Game Empire.

It is still available, and if you have the money for it tonight or tomorrow at my house you're welcome to it.

No problem whatsoever... like I said, if you have any questions regarding the setup just let me know.

And just because my neighbors have horses doesn't mean I live in the sticks. :P

So, I have a couple problems regariding teh set-up.

My TV does not have those red/yellow/white video/audio plugs on it. This makes it difficult to plug in the TiVo to the television. I think I need to plug it into the VCR, but I'll work on that.

And second, I apparently have lost the remote to the TV, which makes it difficult to change the input since I can't do that frmo the TV itself...

Ugh.

Well, if I figure it out, I'll let you know, but if you have any tips, I'll take 'em. :)

I believe the TiVo should have a Coax out... use that instead of the RCA (3 cables) connectors.

Change the channel on the TV so it "sees" the Tivo (the tivo screen appears), it'll probably be channel 3 or 4. Then go into the remote setup section of the Tivo, you can program the TiVo remote to control your TV.

Well, I got it all set up now, and everything works. I can turn on my TV, change the volume and mute it, and I can change channels on my cable box. Most cool. :)

Now, I just have to read up on how to record things. Thanks!
