First off, I'd like to say Hello SD Gamers. I just signed up and hope this site is everything it appears to be.


I've been gaming for 12-13 years or so now and recently moved to San Diego. Very familiar with D&D 3E and looking for a group(or several, possibly) to join. If you're in a group right now, could you give me a little info on the campaign, and meeting locations/dates?

I would be very much obliged.

Hello Dionysus,

In case you haven't found a group yet, here is some info about ours:

We play weekly (Friday nights) and take turns playing at each other's homes. We live as far south as Chula Vista and as far north as Mira Mesa.

We are not playing DnD, though. We are playing a game called RuneQuest. It is a skills based game in a fantasy setting. It is pretty easy to learn and lots of fun. We have electronic versions of the rules, so there is no need to buy them unless you want them.

I am running a campaign called the Shame of Dragonkind in which everyone starts as a young barbarian noble (barbarian is defined for this game as anything from a viking warrior to one of King Aurthur's knights). Sent to serve the clan by assissting a powerful clansman, Lord Merrenthos. He is a knowledge priest (dedicating to learning things) that speciallizes in dragon related knowledge. He is located near some bronze mines that provide wealth to the family. Also near by are some dragon ruins. The party has learned that there is an ongoing war between normal true dragons and a creature known as the false dragon. Naturally the party is right in the middle of it.

My group is looking for new members. We are about to start an Eberron campaign.

We are using the 3.5 rules but they aren't much different than 3.

We get together on Friday nights from 7-11ish. We have been meeting in Linda Vista (near 163 and Genesee) most recently.

I am running a 3/3.5 E campaign. Sessions are going to be from 6-9 on fridays. They will be 3 fridays out of the month. The sessions will be at my house in North park. I have my own realm and welcome any books from d20 or dungeons and dragons.
