I plan on running the Firefly game from Hyphen-Con. I also planned on running Exalted using KFC Fate but I don't really have the time for that so something a little lighter. Maybe Zorzerer of Zoe.

Of course this is GameX so I'm considering running nothing because I've my bad luck at this con.

In Smallville instead of skills you have relationships. You gain extra dice by challenging these relationships. You can also buy new relationships easily. This makes the about the relationships and since all the PCs are starting relationships you are encouraged to deal with them.

Player to player interaction

One of my favorite parts of a roleplaying session is when players interact with each other. It is even better when there is a conflict between the two players that isn't combat. Because of this I love the Smallville roleplaying game but talking with Mord he said he didn't like it. I just saw this on...

Great con everyone. I had a blast as usual. And thanks to PK for coming down at the last minute so I could run my Firefly game. It is a fun game but very rules light. Dice do little more than help determine setup. Otherwise it is all narrative with the only choices being if you want to setup or resolve a scene and if that scene is beneficial to your character.

The only real consequence is changing what's humanly possible. A GM, could rule that fleeing from a monster with a broken leg isn't humanly possible (Especially with the bone showing). Unless your job title is athletic in nature, you're stuck with just your insanity die. THE BONE WASN'T SHOWING!
