After Dogs... an Unknown Armies proposal
So I was thinking that after we play A//State perhaps we could give Unknown Armies a shot, I am willing and able to run either a short series of games or a longer campaign if anyone is interested. Specifically I've always wanted to run the acclaimed Garden Full of Weeds scenario from Weep which coul...

In Case it needed to be said there is a game tommorrow...
In case it needed to be said there is a game tommorrow, and I'm running it. So be prepared to be proactive if possible. Also just so everyone is clear it is possible for Dogs to call upon demons, and use demonic influence to their advantage, what this will do to your Dog's soul is up to you. If it w...

Thankyou much for the inspiration which I'm thinking of robbing mercilessly. I'm cutting out mysterious deaths because the more I read the less it would fit. Dirty secrets seem to be what the town I've got is all about, I've only worked through the Pride and the Injustice stages, and I am in the bit...

Well, I talked to my superior, and evidently all I need do is call the theatre I work at two hours in advance of the showing I want to see, and the manager on duty will handle the specifics with the Ken. But I can't go opening night, or saturday night, or sunday night, however monday, tuesday, and w...

Since I work at the Landmark in Hillcrest
...who wants to get in free? I can't take more than four people tops....
There is a whole system to it, and since I'm new still need to ask how it works again but I think all I have to do is call up the really cool woman who runs the Ken and schedule a night.
Tell me if your interested.

Has anyone tried Burning Wheel?
From what I've heard on RPG.net it seems really cool but has anyone here played it, or even better is playing it?
Right now I'm feeling torn between donating to Greg Stolze's In Spaaace, since I downloaded the pdf, or buying Burning Wheel.

Give me the low down on what's going down in the game so far. Oh and hi everybody. Wow...so your actually playing Dogs in the VIneyard. Very cool. One question: why is this thread called the Champions, is it the name of your group/troup or does everyone really love the HERO system? See you next week...

Hey I seem to have missplaced my copy of Statosphere, as far as I can tell its not in my car or my apartment, and since I'm moving down to my hometown for the summer it would really ease my mind if you guys could check to see if you might have accidently picked it up. Thanks. If not I guess I'll hav...

Actually the Fuzion version of Usagi Yojimbo (as written by Greg Stolze) is rather good. I picked up a copy and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was, and how faithful and informative the book is on the comics. Plus I can build Panda Khan with it, and thats always worth a laugh, at least I thi...

I know I can't play this week, maybe I could run something next week but I'm hoping to wait until finals week to start gaming again. Yeah, Bill in Three Persons is a good adventure to start a campaign with. I've run it three times now. I've played the adventure once too. There was a thread about running it on the mailing list awhile back that was really helpful. The last time I ran it, a couple odd questions came up that I was gl...

Well, maybe the 22nd (that would be friday). My weekdays are pretty packed (semester at SDSU is nearly over, and lots of stuff is due). And yeah I set up the pm option right before I posted that message. I figure if Breakfast can't make it, I'll run Fly to Heaven or Jail Break. Both adventures come ...

Hey, Breakfast what UA books don't you have (or haven't read religiously?). I don't want to try to come up with a game of UA off the cuff if I don't have to, but I will if you'd like to play. Besides which I look forward to playing in your UA one-shot (I haven't actually read over One Shots in nearl...

Sorry to chime in, since I don't know any of you, but I find it aggravating that the many of the forces arguing to error on the side of life are the same people who support the death penality in Texas. I find it deeply hypocritical. His wife is brain dead, the only keeping her alive is a hospital. S...

the system is really simple: everything is percentiles, matched rolls are special (i.e. 11, 22, 33, 44, 55 etc) in that its a dramatic result, even matched failures add +1% to your skill. Criticals are 01 (crit success), 00 (crit failure or fumble). You have a number of HP or wound points equal to y...

Any interest in Unknown-Armies?
Hey, outta curiousity, does anyone here play Unknown Armies? I've picked up the last few books to complete my collection at Games Empire, so obviously someone was interested in the game.
