OH my god, can we please fucking play something?
Well, my nerves are shot. Totally shot. I'm so over everything. Let's play something. Let's play something cool. Let's play Star Trek. Or something funny, that game with the side panel like a reality show. I need to get drunk in good company.

[quote="cczernia"]I was wondering if you guys were interested in doing this again. For those who don't know it is a meet-n-greet down on Fiesta Island where we cook up some serious grub, drink large quantities of beer (in plastic cups) and put large quantities of wood on fire. You can also bring yo...

Hi and welcome to sunny (where the hell is my sun and who ate it?! We better get it back tomorrow) San Diego. If you're here temporarily, I recommend watching the one-shots board. If this semester doesn't suck too badly, I'm planning a few one shots over the next few months. Game Towne is nice if yo...

The Owners
I ran a game last night and I wanted to share it with y'all. I owe the immense success of this entirely to the great guys of the CI gaming group here. I did as little as was humanly possible. It's a total Lost ripoff. I'll post the outline here and maybe one of the guys can tell you all a little abo...

What's sick is that this guy not only advocated the complete destruction of our way of life and the installation of a supreme emperor for America...but also was able to so casually say that nuking Iraq, then butchering its whole ...

I haven't prepared anything and won't have time to, but I may run one off the cuff if people feel really strongly and enthusiastically about it, and if not, no, we should shelve it. Let me know what you think. Otherwise, I'm thinking maybe we can just play with the wii or hang out or go out for dinn...

Where are our SCA folks? (Or anyone who's done leatherworking)
I'm interested in molding leather, but I can't figure out what materials make appropriate forms, aside from wood.

You could be an informer. You could be a smuggler. You could ally yourself with the Atreides men remaining on Dune. I promise you're not going to meet Paul or Jessica or see any of that developing plot line. We're all about what's happening out in the world as a mirror of the plot line in the books....

I mean, going back and signing the indenturement contract probably isn't going to work, since you can probably imagine that they radio'd back on sighting you before landing. I mean /maybe/ you could convince them the desert ate the guy who brought you the contract, but probably not. You could sell o...

I think it's okay to play the straight guy to these freaks ;) But right now you're playing an ordinary guy in extraordinary situations. I sort of thought the lack of ticket counter/small airport thing would tell you that it's not a standard passenger oriented airport. It's a little airfield. I don't think I grasped the magnitude of your disconnect with what was going on and that's why we need to sit down and discuss in detail the si...

Well, starting over probably is a pretty tall order. You're absolutely wanted fugitives for skipping out on your contract, even if no one finds out about capping the guy in the desert. (Hey, accidents happen in the desert.) Even if you tried to show up to fulfill your original contract, you already ...

I suppose the difference in my mind is that you perceive them as murderers and I perceive them as soldiers. Ultimately, there's not a whole lot of difference, it's violence resulting in dead people and it's evil. No question about it, killing people is evil. On the other hand, I just can't bring mys...

It's good to reject violence and icky things, yes. We should all be shaken, but it's not fair to judge without understanding. These aren't horrible people, but they are horrible circumstances, and that makes people act badly. It's also important to understand that it's not just about material wealth...
