Mine would have to be sci fi fantasy. That is to say scifi with elements of mysticism (ie Urth of the New Sun, Fading Suns, Dune) not scifi with elves and dragons (ie Shadowrun, Dragonstar, Spelljammer).

I was wondering what everyones opinion on Cross Gender roleplaying is? I personally don't mind it; some of my favorite characters have been woman. However, it seems to be a huge taboo here.

So, what is the deal? I don't see the difference in playing a elf, robot, or woman, but that is just me.

This is a tough one. I've always liked Roger Moore, but there is something about the way Sean Connery would smack women on the ass and say "Man talk, Honey, man talk!"

I still have to disagree. If Jackson had complete creative freedom I think the relationship between Eowyn and Aragorn should have been played out (but it can't because of the books). I havn't painted a mini since my Sophmore year in High School. It took me 3 hours to paint one mini and I found the whole thing tedious.

I have been tempted to paint the Fading Suns ships though, but I wouldn't even know how to start. :?

Ok, for the most part there is a reason for including female characters in a movie other than as sexual objects. In James Bond the woman are included as sex objects but also to show that Bond is the man with the ladies which is half his character. Without the women we don't see the true Bond. As for...
