There's Cafe Tazza in Chula Vista right off 805.

Last time I was in there it seemed pretty spacious and relaxed.

Me? I'm not much for the hoity-toity coffee shops. Yanno, the ones that give you a funny look when you say "Large coffee. Black".
I noticed on the bottom of the main page, that is says this: "Threads: 5,718, Posts: 72,078, Members: 11,752" There are almost 12,000 members of this forum?! What the hell? I can think of maybe 20 (that's a stretch) active members on this forum. Who are this mysterious army of lurk...
The biggest problem I had with the surfer thing is that the turtles lived their entire life in New York. Not really the place you expect to hear surfer accents. Chris
I thought when the 'sewer HQ' got decimated, they fled to western MA. There is a two-page drawing of dow...
Wasn't the "surfer dude" persona of one of the turtles a thing from the cartoon? I don't remeber them being like that in the original comics.
It was; I clearly remember that now. The mid to late 80's was (is still) blurry to me. I guess it was wasted youth, but I can't r...

I was in a comic book store in the mid-80's when Eastman (or was it Laird?) tried to trade a first edition #2 TMNT for a STACK of comics. The clerk behind the counter gave him this really weird look and almost laughed at him. Now who's laughin' suckah! I could never understand how a western MA write...

I guess filming D&D II would have interrupted his current campaign he and Wil Wheaton were doing at the time.
Not only that, but Williams apparently -really- got a kick out of 'roleplaying' during the games. If this rumor is to be believed, he played the Orks. I'd pay money to watch one of those games.
Isn't that where he got his Mork from Ork character? Oh, happy days....
