Great! Can we start tonight? My players bailed on me. ^^

I had to double-check to make sure this wasn't my original post, as I am running a 4E game on Thursday nights and my place is too small to host. But I start at 6:30, not 6:00. This was the crucial clue. Also, the game ended up being played up in Mira Mesa.

I'll try to be vague. In the kobold lair, they all died. Mind you, they did bring it on themselves, with bad luck and poor tactics. Splitting the party when outnumbered is going to get you in trouble.

I put together a group to run through this and I can say that the PCs are definitely not unkillable.

Say, I like gaming. And summer. Well, not so much summer, since I don't have air conditioning. I'm mainly interested in giving 4E a try and would certainly be willing to GM, but am open to other ideas. And I live in Hillcrest.

While I would not want to run another normal D&D game, if you want to give Iron Heroes a try I would be willing to GM that.

As I'd be coming from San Diego, Escondido would be preferable to Vista for me. Would the first meeting be used for character creation, or should we try and accomplish that beforehand? I can get my hands the GURPS 4th edition books, but I don't have Banestorm, and there's not much info to work with ...

But tragically, they had to start over from scratch. Brad says that hopefully the old posts can be turned into a searchable web page at some point in the future.

GURPS Fantasy, hmm? This intrigues me. I played GURPS many editions ago, so I have some familiarity with the system. I will have to learn more of this Banestorm world.

I was only talking about the dancing. Even the lamest character dances in WoW are better than the ones we see in that video. Making the monsters dance would be pretty sweet, though.
